I think you missed my point. What I was saying was that if none of the designers had enough interest in any of those figures to buy them for their personal collections is Reprolabels (Aaron) going to invest $500+ in a set of figures just so they can produce an upgrade set.
Electro Rush
I dunno, Quantron is already aesthetically busy enough as it is.
RKillian
I just asked about the price because I was interested in the Strongarm set but if you're going to spend $16 for the toy and $14 for decals it makes more sense to just get the Takara version in the first place.

It also comes down to demand as well as the necessary space to fit a label. The problem with those figures is how many actually own them. Maybe Ordn when there done and Warbo but you need more than a few people to justify a set. The price and extra stickers don't bother me because I can't paint . Otherwise I would be stuck at some pretty bland figures and being they have to think these things up and make them I don't think they are asking to much.
Thelonicon
The character begins the series with Decepticon symbols so if you want him to be accurate to those early episodes, you have that option.
Electro Rush
Dunno if its also a new set, but why does the RID Grimlock sticker sheet also give him Decepticon symbols?

You may be correct about Kronos, but Quantron, Ordin, etc are doing pretty well. I would think they would make labels for them, as there are some good opportunities and areas on each fig in the sets to get more detailed.

It's quite possible that none of Reprolabels designers picked up any of those toys.
I'm guessing that most of the samples for stickering are out of the designers personal collections.
I'm sure on the more pricey 3rd party stuff they would have to figure out if it was worth buying a $500-$600 combiner or a $160 figure that a lot of people think turned out terrible, just for the sake of coming up with a sticker set for it.
Or I could be talking completely out of my ass.
inturnmike
But they don't usually do that. They came out with the FP Menasor and MMC Feral Rex guys one by one, as they were released…
inturnmike
Or, I dunno, MT QUANTRON? That has been out a WHILE…
Superquad7
Lotsa cool sets here! That Strongarm set tempts to go out and get one, actually.
thunder117
They're most likely waiting until the full combiner set has been released so that they can sell off the sticker set as one instead of being separate.
HARD RAINBOW
That Rumble sticker for Breakdown frickin' neato.

Not a fan of the new website, infact I never liked their website to begin with, very poor layout and navigation, but thankfully they make an amazing product that keeps people coming back.
Spether
I agree with you in general. However I did spring for the set for my Hasbro MP-10. The stickers make a huge improvement to the trailer.
Electro Rush
I'm digging the Azalea and Zinnia stickers. Kinda disappointed in the Motormaster set. Compared to the CW Optimus set, it doesn't do enough to enhance the bot.
inturnmike
Where the hell are the stickers for the 3P that have already been out for 6 months or more? I mean, still no stickers for Warbotron Swindle, Blast Off, or Brawl? Nothing for UT Blot, Rippersnapper, or Sinnertwin? What about something for (*gulp*) Daca Kronos? I understand some of the backlash on that figure, but the one I have has no defects at all, and looks great! But he is basically a blank canvas, with him being mostly white. I am sure they could do a lot of detail on him.
Smasher
Some of these sets look really good, but as others have pointed out, they're just too "busy".
I am not going to pretend that figures these days are not missing paint apps, so I don't understand why you would create stickers to cover painted areas.
It's not included in this update, but the Combiner Wars Optimus is probably the worst offender in that regard.
Yeah, is this a permanent thing?
And how could the website design get any worse?
George Herbert
Was hoping for MP Star Saber. Oh well, next update I guess.
incapable hulk
I think they are doing a really good job, in branching out their sticker sets.
Most of the current ones are not for me, as I only really order sticker sets to add the missing details, rather than brand new ones that are totally their own things.
But they are being super creative now, and good luck to them. Nice to see someone try something different than just appeasing us G1 nerds
