Renderform RF-008 Hub Scout and RF-009 Bump Scout Final Product Images and Preorders

3rd party group, Renderform, has updated their website with final images of their RF-008 Hub Scout and RF-009 Bump Scout upgrade kits. These two kits, available in several color choices, allows fans to utilize all of those extra Bumblebee figures using the Classics mold and Transform them into classics versions of Hubcap and Bumper (aka Bumblejumper). Preorders are now open and will remain open through out July. Check out the update from their site:

The RF-008 Hub Scout and RF-009 Bump Scout kits are now up for order, in the Renderform Store. Below is a quick gallery showing the kits off with the various Classics Bumblebee repaints. Both kits come with two guns, which are all unique designs from each other. As well, both kits are available in yellow and RTS orange!
Please be aware when ordering. Due to the large volume of orders expected, a new batch system will be used to handle orders and production. Once your submit your order, you will get an automated email letting you know your order is in the system. A couple days later, you will get an email indicating which batch you are in with further details on where to check. Your batch will only be invoiced when its ready for production, to ensure their is minimal wait between payment to shipping.

Not taking preorders yet. Anyone that shows interest in the thread will get first chance at the sets. These will be available here on the board. I'll basically just tell people to either PM me, or email me, when I start to take orders.

It is your call. I would still be interested either way. If it isn't perfect...I'll call it battle damage.

That being said. ultimately, you have to be happy with the project. If you are happy with it, yourself being the worst critic, others will be happy.

Wow, the custom parts you're making really do make the original toy seem totally different and not very-repaint-ish too. I'll have to get a set when everything is ready!

Originally, I was going to make 100. But after seeing the new support every month, since I started this project, I think 300 will the limit. I think that should work well, since with all the Skyfalls on clearance, any new fans that find out about the kit will have a chance to get the figure for cheap.

There might be a Darkwind kit in the works.. not a repaint, a totally new mold. I have a couple people pulling my arm for it. I'm also thinking of doing two very limited repaints of this Skyfall kit. Probably for charity.

I will definetely try to color match. But even if I am able to, the parts themselves are not guranteed to match. As each set casted will be slightly off. This is a down side to garage made items like this. So it will ultimetely come down to making this kit at all or not.

Based off repro part prices, $45 seems fair for brand new created parts.

Though, depending on the run, I'm hoping to sell these for less than $30 depending on how big the entire run is. With Skyfall on clearance, that should make the kit affordable to alot as well.
