Renderform Hawk Saber and Giga Blaster - Botcon Metalhawk and Overlord Weapons

Renderform has officially announced their next two releases, which were teased by Captured Prey last summer. The two new releases are the Hawk Saber for Botcon 2012 Metalhawk and the Giga Blaster for Botcon 2012 Gigatron. Both weapons are based on accessories from the Generation 1 toys. The regular versions are available in a two pack through the Renderform website and also through our sponsors Captured Prey and Big Bad Toy Store - singles of both weapons (with a different metallic tint in the Giga Blaster's case) are also available, along with a purple version of the Hawk Saber exclusively available through Captured Prey.

These look great, I like the gun and I'm usually a sucker for clear plastic anything. I'll try and pick these up even though I haven't bothered to pick up Gigatron/Overlord and Metalhawk yet!

HOPEFULLY tonight. I would have them up already, but I've been focusing on busting my ass to get a bunch of orders out that are now in stock. There's more coming, and I don't want to make anyone wait longer than I absolutely have to, so getting orders out the door is the #1 priority right now.

But he looks way better headswapped as Skeletor which slightly reduces the need..

Still I suppose you could lend it to Banzai-Tron or Bludgeon as well. I think the colours actually seem to suit G2 Megs the best though.

Sorry, that was a teaser I posted on my personal Facebook page. The orange verison has no home yet for a release. Keep any eye here or on the Renderform Facebook page, as I'll make a full announcement one its ready to be released. Most likely, it'll be another exclusive.

I have been waiting on these a LONG time. Saw protos way back at BotCon. Was looking at the pics this morning and fortunately my wife thinks they are awesome.

Preordering one set of sword and gun, and one gun for Megatron. I might even drop the sword, just get the two guns. Surprisingly good job working for both versions.

The Giga Blaster sold by itself is the one best suited for GDO Megatron or any other figure. If you want the version for Gigatron, then you'll have to go with the two pack.

Renderform.com orders for the Hawk Saber + Giga Blaster 2 pack have begun shipping! I've got 1/3 of the paid orders shipped today, and any order paid to date will be shipped by Monday, if not tomorrow.

Also, I'll begin shipping to retailers next week, so these should be in stock at most retailers before the end of the month!
