Play With This Too have shared images of their action figure styled take on Generation 1 Skullgrin, Desolataur, with merely three days left on their Kickstarter program. These images show a 3D printed version of Desolataur, so it’s not the final product which will be smoother, but gives an impression of what the final release might be like. There are a lot of images of the prototype, which you can check out on the group’s Facebook page – we’ve attached a few of the best and most insightful here.
Play With This Too is a new third party group, made up of former Hasbro staff and other toy industry veterans including Rik Alvarez and Aaron Archer. Find out more about the Kickstarter campaign here.

Good Morning Cybertron podcast spent some time talking about his thread in the last episode. They commented on how incredibly negative it was he decided to avoid commenting on the toys fear of the attacks that might follow. Nice to see how the friendly people of this board impressed visitors. Great work guys!

GammaRay
There's a few things about PWTT I find funny, but that isn't one of them.
HIYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Of course I am not, but people are SO SERIOUS and ready to be offended…
Play With This Too Thread – Joking not allowed! Some people need to lighten up. ๐
PWTToo announced a head add-on called Terri-Bull, then Hasbro released a head add-on called Terri-bull. No one finds that funny?

This will not end well.

Did Hasbro seriously just steal an idea from Play With This Too? They are offering a head accessory pack to enhance your figures, and the name is Terribull?
Scaleface
Amazing work, and even if unintended, it works as an homage for me. Maybe you should leak out that it was a homage to more MOTU collectors get one?

I designed Bitemark's colors. Any resemblance to Horde Prime is coincidental. The colors were designed to work well for a vampire and as a body for the Skull-F head.

Posting this in the old thread, because it's about the old figures…
I was just cleaning up some old images, and I came to a possible realization. Remember in the first Kickstarter from PWTToo, they had two Transformers homages, two He-Man homages, and a seemingly original character named "Bitemark"?
Just came across this guy from Masters of the Universe named Horde Prime… I could see a little inspiration taken here. Horde Prime was a big villain in the She-Ra stories, so it fits with the others being Skeletor and Hordak.

Found another obscure TF reference hiding in a Head Shots set. IN a Cybercast interview Rik Alvarez mentioned an influence by Hoist Goes Hollywood in their logo…
I think I see it in the Enigmoid head.
