Perfect Effect Update - PE-DX02 and PA-01

PA-01 looks dope. Really like the head sculpt.

PE-DX02 looks great though, the spider legs look menacing in both modes and I really like that headsculpt.

The PE-DX 02 looks wicked. Can't wait for that to hit the stores. Looks very menacing.

PE-DX02 for some reason reminds me of Predator. The alternate mode is a big meh. A bike with spider legs? IMHO the best Arachnid toy so far is still the Animated one.

Much more convincing than the Warbugs, IMHO.

Damn... PE is kinda wanting to make me buy a second of the bike and camera mold... Just enough stuff changing in weird and interesting ways that its making me nibble. Just don't know if I wanna bite for those prices.

I like the blood kit alot.

Bought, bought, and bought. I wish PE would have went for a full 3rd party Bludgeon figure. The design of him in the PE DX 01 comic was kick-ass.

Perfect Effect just upped the game. Just leaving it at that.

Looks like Bike Arachnia will probably be a definite purchase, unless the paint job ends up being garish (highly unlikely). I'm also really intrigued by this new Bludgeon head, but unless it ends up being mind-blowingly awesome, I'll stick with HeadRobots. I'll probably skip the repaint of Reflector, though. It looks great, but I'm still really happy with the initial release.

Horey shet that Blackarachnia looks crazy. I think I'm gonna have to throw money at that.

The bike looks stellar, but I'm not sure how I feel about the bludgeon add-on. I really dig the Headrobots version, so this one will have to be absolutely amazing for me to consider it.

Black Arachnia looks surprisingly good. I can't make out enough from the pics to see if the Bludgeon set looks good or not. Either way I'm likely passing on everything shown as I have the original releases of each set. There's just too much new stuff out there for me to dip into repaints and remolds.

Absolutely. Had 0 interest in the mold before, but just bought a Bludgeon the second I saw that head sculpt.

It's also going to be really nice to have a Black Arachnia in my collection.

I didn't really care about the first Arcee Bike Chick, but Blackarachnia Bike Chick looks pretty snazzy with the spider legs. And I liked her colors from that pack-in comic so I'll probably throw money at this release.

Was excited about the beast wars homage til I saw it was basically a bike with spider legs. If they had found a way to hide them, sidecar, anything, it would have been much better to me.

ooooo this one will be hard to pass on. i do want a generations styled "spider lady" and this could be it ... except ... why do all lady bots lately have to be bikes? i mean ... come on, werew limiting ourselves here. and dont mention slipstream. screamers clone is a total different story altogether.

Do the legs serve any purpose except to make her appear more like BA? If they do, I may lift my personal ban on buying 3rd party stuff.

I didn't care about the Arcee version either for some reason. It is well designed, but it does nothing for me. I definitely want Black Arachnia though. Fingers are crossed for the TFA Black, Purple, and Gold color scheme.

I've hoping for the reason 1. Black, gold, and Red color scheme.

She had the TFA color scheme in their little comic, so I'm hoping that they'll stick to that with the final toy.

While I don't think that RC mold is that fembot-ish.... let alone a good representation/update for any of the bots they're trying to make them based off of...

I will admit that the Black Arachnia retool is wicked. If I can afford it when it's about to release... might just grab it. Very neat retool. Would consider it a stand-alone or original TF tho tbh.

Really wish PE would consider upsizing the Scouting Force. Granted, if they made them all deluxes, who knows what they'd charge. As it were, the legends-sized bots are a almost 90 bucks... surely wouldn't be at 130 (the TFC Photron price) now would it..?

And the Bludgeon kit... really? PE will probably price it the same as HeadRobots... which means if you got the HR set, I doubt you'd shell out the same for another head... Seems unneccessary. Now, if they made pieces to cover the Mech-Alive, change the feet, and possibly armor plates that could stay on even when transformed... THAT would be interesting.

camera dudes look great in those colors. Not good enough to get them though since I already have PE's original release. Arachnia though, will buy to go with Arcee!

Unique work, but not sure what that has to do with these releases from Perfect Effect.

I wouldn't count out the articulation of the "spider legs" yet. In the comic she is shown with them in some kind of attack formation coming around her back. Probably not going to get a spider out of her, but I think we will get some working appendages at the least. Definitely looks like three joints per appendage. Which is more than we can say about Hasbro's Airachnid.
