Perfect Effect PE-12 Assault Force X and PE-DX02

3rd party group, Perfect Effect have updated their blog with teases for two upcoming products. The first, a remold release of their popular Scouting Force X. This time around, the three camera-bots will be given a Generation 1 toy color scheme and new parts such as the chests and heads. The figures also get new names; Vanguard, Sniper and Cannonier. So far, it seems that these may be a Japanese fan convention, transfunket, exclusive, but that's not confirmed just yet. We'll update as more info becomes available.

Also teased is PE-DX02 shown in cycle mode. This upcoming figure will be a Black Arachnia inspired motorcycle bot and may be an extensive remold of their PE-DX01 Motobot. This figure has been previously teased before, but hopefully new images and information will be available shortly.

I don't know why, but I find the new deco Reflector more appealing than the show accurate one. Might finally bite on these tiny guys.

You've been out of the loop for awhile, haven't you? Each component of Reflector is about a head taller than a Legends/Cyberverse figure. They're tiny.

Nope, I actually owned a set of the original figures. I just thought that since it's a new figure number (PE-12 rather than PE-11), they would be somewhat updated.

Robot Kingdom usually winds up with some of these (After the convention). They are based overseas so they're closer, but it'll still be pricey.

I am of two minds about Black Arachnia. I recently bought the RC version and although it is top tier quality I feel that the price was not worth it. I hope the new one is a bit more feminine in shape.

I really like the G1 colored deco. Might be a purchase if the price is around the same as the original release.

A new Scouting Force redeco? Hmm, have they been upsized to Scout-Deluxe? That's the only way I'd buy another set of these guys. PE-11 is a great set (awesome articulation and accessories) but their tiny size (they're shorter than most Legends side-by-side) makes them a bit out of place among Classics/MP.

I like the Reflector remold, and I'm less hesitant to buy fairly extensive remolds of relatively expensive things than straight repaints, but I don't want to rebuy something I already have when it's still the same characters.

Blackarachnia can fill a different place in my collection than Arcee, so I'm a lot more interested in her.

But mostly I just want them to get their asses in gear and make that Lio Convoy haha.

Interesting, I've been wanting to invest in the scouting force, this could be my chance. The BA Motobot has had my interest for a while, after getting the blue version.

I completely (and respectfully) disagree. Arcee is top notch AND worth the price IMHO.

And I'm greatly looking forward to Blackarachnia. Love how PE handled Arcee, so this one can only be that x2 quality and awesomeness!

They are really good little figures - oddly I've had more trouble finding the original colour than I have the limited colour - I suspect to due to the black one being made for so many conventions they might have made as many or possibly even more of the black set.
The Camera mode isn't a lot of use though - shame you can also turn it into an artillary weapon of some kind.

Hopefully they are a bit larger in size, I didn't care for the pe-11 for that reason alone.

I'm going against the grain here but I'll have to wait to see how BA turns out: to be honest Perfect Effect's Arcee did absolutely nothing for me and looks really husky.

And I was just starting to think about PE-Scout. Now to wait and see what the price is for Assault Force X will be. Hopefully nothing ridiculous! These look awesome!

Yeah. But imagine how expensive they would be. Those little dudes cost almost a $100. I would be very interested though.

I hear you, but it is a price I would most likely be willing to pay. I would probably go $200, and maybe a slight bit more if they were scaled right with MP Starscream and such.

A lot of people have been waiting for a good MP Reflector as it is one of those toys we don't think we will be getting any time soon.

^ Yeah, I'm this close to getting the oversized KOs and attempting a kitbash, but my time outside of work is at a premium so I'd rather not go the customizing route myself.

Yeah as awesome as they look, really wished they up-scaled em a bit, that would of made them a MUST HAVE instead of a if I get a round to it, Im happy with with my Show accurate deco with repros ;]

Never got Scouting Force X, but Assault Force X looks sweet.
Hopefully it gets a wider release so I can grab one.

....an interesting development, I've been on the look out and close to pulling the trigger on pe-11(as sig shows!!) for the last couple of weeks now pe-12 comes along.
Should I wait for pe-12 or just go ahead with pe-11, I still think I prefer the original cartoonish set. hmmmm??

I'm pretty sure these will be available on Robot Kingdom as Steven from RK and his crew are the people behind Perfect Effect. Why else do you think they get all the PE stuff.
