Following up on the initial prototype images we saw a few days ago, DX9 Toys has provided more information on their Facebook page about their latest project, War In Pocket Hulkie, a Legends-sized Devastator.
Included this go around are bot and alt mode pics as well as names for each of the first four figures.
X07 – Hoister (Hook)
X08 – Carrier (Long Haul)
X09 – Crusher (Bonecrusher)
X10 – Digger (Scavenger)
So far there is no release or pre-order information for these figures, but you can be sure we will provide that info as soon as it’s announced. In the meantime, head over to the boards to give us your thoughts on this fun little project.

I think this is one of the 1:1 KOs, but could be mistaken. Either way, good to know that it's pretty much a KO issue. Still definitely worth the $17 I paid for it.

I have the OG and the tabs line up fine. I think it’s just a problem beings an upscaled KO

Got one of the Hulkie KOs in today and I'm not sure if I'm transforming Hook correctly for Devastator mode. The tabs on the chest wing don't want to line up with the holes to plug them into the shoulders. Is this normal or am I just doing it wrong? Or is it a by product of being a KO?

Hulkie and Huge Dragon look great with them. It's so good to see old bots still being loved.

Oh yeah I bought him just to go with my Dr wu collection. I absolutely love their size and he fits perfectly right in. Now I just need to find a bruticus that is around the same height or smaller to work
I know that their is this shapeways part here

I still have them boxed up somewhere. I never thought about displaying them with Dr. Wu Micromasters. They look good together.
Hopefully Dr. Wu adds a few more Autobots (cars or Dinobots) they'd look good with the old Devastator.

For those who are getting into Dr Wu extreme warfare Hulkie looks great scale wise with them!

Finally received DX9 Hulkie, is my first 3rs party combiner and is even better than I hoped.I display him for single poses but when he is in hand appears sturdy as a rock together and Hook transformation is very smart and once I could connect him to Long Haul in combiner mode ,is one of strongest pieces.
The only problem is that some little pieces as Scrapper shovel are a little sharp bur he's targeted to adult and I absolutely didn't wound myself when I combined him,I wonder if that bigger KO has same thing with its plastic.
I've rotated arms for some poses and appear stable, but I usually display my combiners with upper arms extended alongside body and I'm keeping him in same way ,I think that despite is considered weak, arms shouldn't fall from body if not touched.

there is a newer one from MFT that is on the horizon. so if you just wait a bit one will be coming out.

There’s talk of MFT make their own design but I have a feeling MS will announce something by the end of the year.

Are there any other Devastators in this scale that are more toon accurate? I've held off on this guy for this long, thought another 3p company would have come along and made a better one by now.
CooljazCustoms
Im surpeised to hear so many people complaining about this guy. I was able to pick this upnfor $48. This ia my 1st legends scale 3rd party figure and i love the thing. Maybe i just got a great copy. But i have no loose joints, can pose it all just fine. Sure a few of the individual figs arent spectacular, but the combined mode is def where this guy is at. Buying it makes me wanna get some more legends figs actually lol

Never had any issues with balance… the bottoms of his feet are kinda foolproof, afaik. Got some pics so we can see what's going on?

Hulkie is great but DX9/IF figures have both evolved in quality and ambition since then.
kmopotato
Any of you guys ever figure out some sort of fix for the heels of Devastator? I've noticed this guy likes to fall backwards a lot.
FredVIII
Then you'll find yourself in good company, my man! Lotta passionate Legends collectors in these parts. But be forewarned — there are some extreme partisans who seem to think liking DX9 requires hating/dissing IF (and vice versa).
Potchez
I still like him. Clever engineering. Combined is the best though.

Hulkie is my first DX9, I'm a die hard IF fan. especially since IF bruticus got announced. In general, the legends class 3P figures appeal to me most, because i like to display my figures. and you cant display 400 figures on 2 detolfs otherwise.
