he is larger than classics prime. about a head taller i believe. i dont have access to pics right now. he's about a head shorter than faith leader and a head taller than the tfc constructicons from what i remember.

Good to see an update on this. I'm hoping the gun cap can pop off. Not sure but like other have said I liked the previous photos of hegemon more than these final shots. Either way it doesn't change that this is an amazing toy, can't wait to get him.

The sculpt is looks great, but man that unpainted silver is kind of killing it for me. I hope it looks better in person.

They are a bit more expensive than this "Third Party Store" on the item's price (because it costs them extra to even stock the guy since its overseas) but you're at least buying from a trusted retailer who has a presence on these boards.

Yeah, I'm not sure where this thing is supposed to fit either. It's bigger than Classics/Henkei Prime, but smaller than PP01 Faith Leader and MP-10 Convoy. Really odd. If this was Ultra sized (aka as tall as the MP Seeker mold and PP01 Faith Leader), it'd be perfect. But as it is, it's an odd duck and as much as I like the bot design (even with the stumpy non-curved shins), the alt mode and weird size both leave something to be desired.

Man, I'd be all over this if it were MP10 sized.

If they're hiding more than we can already see, we're in trouble. Hegemon is a definite maybe. I'll be on the lookout for a video review before I pull the trigger... haha

The only qualms I have are the hollow back legs and back half of his head being clear red...but I understand the reasoning for doing it and accept it. The head isn't anything a little silver/metallic paint can't fix.

As far as this mysteriously hidden kibble everyone talks about...click the FB page and check out the views from all angles.....

Just realized the trigger guard is still hollow on one side - not cool with that at all. They're probably saving themselves about a penny per figure leaving that plastic out, it makes no sense and ruins the look of the gun.

If they fix that I'll be far more inclined to buy.

Not exactly a point in its favor. I like United Megatron but mostly because I dig his retro gun alt mode for some inexplicable reason, not because of his oddly sized (and winged) bot mode. Call me old school and/or anal, but I likes my Optimus Prime and Megatron to be of equal height unless the media specifically calls for one to be bigger than the other (like the TF Prime show).

Looks great...my only quibble has nothing to do with the figure (the "sword" looks more like an energon plant or a weird fan). I'll have to remember to budget this in somewhere in the next couple of months.

Yeah, I think they were going for a heavily influenced weapons almost straight out of megatron origins story arc from IDW.
