when will we see full color pics?

My bet is in a week or two if the past progressions are any indication. I want to see more robot mode turnarounds myself. Someone mentioned putting a red stripe on this prototype. Would be funny to get an a-team van alternate paint job for Iron Hide.

I wonder if in a few years when we have perfect versions of all the G1 characters if we can stop or will it just keep going around.

Heh, remove the lightbar and add some blue and silver paint apps and you got Bayverse Ironhide colors in a G1-esque mold. XD

That said, these photos make me excited for the final product!

Looks great, and it looks like they are going to go with a clear windshield, which is much better than the black windows they showed in the teaser pics

Damn, lookie at all those weapons. Getting both of the van brothers so imagine those weapons times two. XD A real arsenal, for sure. I look forward to posing my bots dual wielding machine guns and combat knives. And Generations Wheeljack will have a giant toolbox to play with too (and share with Ratchet).

I think that'll be cool but I hope they do paint variants similar to FrogDNAs cartoon cel shading look too. So many options, as a third party, for iGear to take.

This PP line is soooo bought. I just hope they move a lot quicker with releases once they get the ball rolling.

I bet there will be much fan rage about the colour of the insides of the legs and the head crest I'd not mind if Ratchet has red inner legs and Ironhide has grey so long as they are only held on with screws I'll be able to swap them.

About time, i'm very impatient to get these guys, the release date being changed isn't too bad as long as they get here by Feb/Mar i'll be happy. Has it been made official yet that they've been moved back? i still haven't got an email

I'm pretty sure they officially announced it on their site. But, about a month ago Fab mentioned that it will be pushed to Feb.

Fab is in the iGear know so when he speak something iGear it is best to listen.

Are the next PP's Bumblebee and Cliffjumper?
If so, Has iGear decided who the next PP's will be after BB and CJ?

I've been around these threads long enough to know what to listen and look out for, and i'm well aware of the insiders for most 3rd parties. What i'm getting at tho is that it still says on their listings at iGears shop that December 2011 is the release date. 31/12/11 to be precise.

I thought I read that iGear announced Feb. It may have been on their FB page.

Nope, someone got an email, but didnt post a copy of it, just said they had been delayed until Feb. iGear themselves haven't updated or announced the delay anywhere i can find. And so far that one guy is the only one who's had an email as far as i'm aware.

I believe Fabe when he says Feb but still want official confirmation as i've already paid the $220 for the figures.

I haven't ordered these yet but I would be ansy too if I gave out $220 and there was a delay yet no official news of it.

Since the Universe 2.0 Ironhide and Ratchet are off the chart with pricing, investment in these guys wouldn't be bad! At least they'll be more G1 accurate!

How about they sell just the base fig + 1 gun for half the price? As cool as extra the weapons and extra accessories are, they are just that. Extras.

Because then they would make less money. They might do that in a couple of years if this sells well - like the "simplified Faith Leader," but they'll never offer it for half. That's a pipe dream.

Assuming iGear is still around in two to three years (business is unpredictable) I'd guess you'll see "simplified" versions for about $75 in mid/late 2013- once all the people who were willing to pay $110 have bought theirs. It's just good business.

Very few people get into a business to break even or lose money. The price is not what it is because of the weapons. The weapons are there to make you feel better about spending $110 (or $220). The price is what it is because iGear is a business and they want to make money. They feel they can meet their sales target (whatever that is) at $110, so the price is $110. The only way to combat this is not to buy one. Good luck.

Heads for other characters? As in upgraded more G1ish headsculpts for official figures???

Remember, they are working on the wreckers too. they've shown us a prototype head already, that could be a test mold of a wrecker head.

At first I wasn't too keen on the figure... but it's pretty cool. Personally I *love* the plethora of weapons they come with.

Kinda wished they could let you buy the weapon kits separately tho... Going to grab Ironhide, but wouldn't mind getting Ratchet's exclusive weapons. (He gets a couple more medical-friendly tools whereas Ironhide gets a few more guns.)

Seeing as iGear's Kup/Perceptor kit's only 15$ shipped... the price for such the Ratchet/Ironhide kits would be similar in price I guess...

I wish Ratchet came with two pistols ala 86 movie dual wield, but tis a small wish of little to no concern compared to their overall awesomness.

The pure awesomeness of this figure is compelling me to buy it. At least I won't have to get them both since I have Generations Ironhide. Welcome aboard Rachet..

You can get away with it the other way (classics ratchet with pp ironhide), thats what I am doing.

It's about time igeAr did something that wasn't a exact rip off of existing toy.

I think I actually said in one of these threads who the heads were... or at least gave a sexy clue.

Those accessories are making me foot the bill on this one. I can not pass up awesome gun packs, and Igear is making awesome original molds this time around so I can support them.

Typically I don't like the Geewun Ironhide, Ratchet look, but these guys look like amazing figures in their own right, and I don't do mediocre. What's the ETA on release so I can preorder off Igear's site?

Nobody knows. There is a claim that iGear sent at least one retailer an email saying February, but nobody's really been able to corroborate or disprove that- or better yet, produce the email. iGear's own site still says Dec 31st, which I think we can all agree is a blatant falsehood. Honestly once it becomes imminent, you'll know. When you start seeing painted figures and pictures of the box, it'll be time. Follow them on facebook, they'll spam you constantly.
