And arriving on sight to clean up the ruckus caused by a certain Speedster, we have what appears to be renders of an upcoming take by Mastermind Creations, Studio Ox inspired Hot Spot, Maximus Pro! The renders, were spotted by TFW2005 member godotislate, and were located on Ocular Max’s website. Ocular Max appears to be the subline, or perhaps the name for the group of Mastermind Creations’ designers who are focusing on bringing designs made by Studio Ox designs to life in toy form. Now go ahead and check out the pics, and discuss this latest iteration of Hotspot after the jump!

We toy guys have a LOONG wait.

I really hope the next two figures in this set don’t take as long coming out. When did First Aid release, late 2021? It has been pretty much a year between releases at this point. That is too long and I hope MMC can get a quicker turn around. Especially since they are planning on doing a 6 team combiner next

FWIW MMC's Facebook messenger account replied to me that there was a slight delay with Hot Spot but that they're still expecting him to be out sometime in April and PSX said they expect him next week.

In that case, here are some more!

Doesn't really matter how many pics have already been posted. More pics of these figures is always welcome, in my books.

I know you all have seen enough pics already, but I just need to take pics of every new bot i get my hands on.

Tbf usually show z gets theirs dead last. Remember i got streetwise off em but they got theirs weeks and weeks after PSX released him.
Barebot
I was only just dusting the display space for Ignis today. I'm fully prepared to welcome in the big blue beautiful chonk.
I'm fine with delays if it means not having to rely on later fixes for him.
mlgpapalouie
maybe hot spot is just cursed cause GT’s also took 7 bajillion years to release
lordcryotek
Delayed? Not surprising, MMC's spring releases tend to end up in summer

BBB got you covered, fam:
【In Stock】Ocular Max Maximus Pro PS-25 Navigant Streetwise
Well, let me explain:
I own Zeta Superion and Bruticus and they are both not getting replaced because the Gestalts are just fucking massive and exactly what i want, look-wise.
When XTB Long Haul got praised, i was really tempted but said to myself "you can't put MP Constructicons in your display when you don't have any Autobots that could fight them", as in: A Combiner Team can't be alone.
I already have GT Defensor because of his distinct, hulking style and even sold my Jinbao Devastator to get the smaller, "original" GT. They both scale perfectly well and i'm now buying XTB Constructicons and MMC Protectobots to display them as individual bots, so the effective Gestalt size of these don't matter – It's merely a bonus that i can combine them
Curium
I may be reading too much into this, but if you are looking at combiners from different companies make sure you verify sizes before committing. XTB and MMC have clearly different combined mode size, which you may be okay with, and the individuals will likely have different sizing priorities (I have not seen Big Load next to MMC Combiner figures yet, though I imagine someone has pictures of it). I'm not advocating for any particular matchup of figures to get, just for making sure you know what you are getting.
If you prefer the A "toy" deco for him then you would have won out. Even if you want the original "toon" deco there are many people who prefer the toy deco that was revealed long after they bought the toon so some of them will likely sell the toon one on after the toy one is released even if MMC didn't do a reissue for whatever reason. To be clear I fully expect a reissue, just stating this on the off chance it doesn't happen.
TheGrognard
There definitely will be. They're going to at least do the toy redeco.

There will definitely be a reissue in the future

he’s the one MMC Protectobot I wanted, because of the design (like you, the character means absolutely nothing to me). Unfortunately, I didn’t have the funds when initially released, and I can’t seem to find him available now. I suspect I missed out.
Mechman42
As much of a nothing burger as Streetwise the character is to me (and I'd assume to many people) he's a fantastic toy, even better than Aid.
King Nergil
Aside from First Aid I've never been a fan of the Protectobots, and even less of Defensor. I won't get the whole team but since I'm so in love with MMC's Combaticons I'm seriously considering adding their Hot Spot to my collection. He looks too good and wilo be a nice companion for First Aid.
