Site sponsor TFsource has sent out a catalog for the holiday season and it contains some looks at new 3rd party unofficial Transformer products. First up, is the next project from Mastermind Creations. Terminus Rapidus will be a Quickswitch homage and has cleverly been teased before in the form of their “Steelian Scientist” teasers (Cyclops, Doctrinus Scope, Physicus Tempest) which were all Mastermind Creations way of showing the various alternate modes. This doesn’t mean these figures won’t be released, just that Terminus Rapidus is most likely first. To top off this exciting news, Mastermind Creations has sent us a clear picture of the prototype!
Also shown in the TFsource catalog is our first look at the individual images of Maketoys next combiner, Quantron. This is our first look at the individual vehicle modes of the groups next combiner homage of G1 Computron.

This guy will end up coming out we just have to wait

Fansproject's version, even at TFSource's $50 Sale this weekend is still an easy pass. I don't like a single thing about the figure. The MMC Bot looks cool tho. Much better than FP's.
I would have LOVED to see the almodes on this. Oh well. This is such a niche character that I'll be shocked if its ever released at this point.
AmonDemon112
MMC's take on the Autobot 6 changer Quickswitch, and in Japan(in different colors) Sixknight who was in the Masterforce anime series. MMC's take is alot more accurate looking than Fansproject's which has my attention!

Who was this guy supposed to be
Deceptimatrix
Duuuuude…..

Yeah obnoxiously bumping a shelved figure, but I REALLY REALLY WANT THIS! ive never been a fan of the Fansproject one and with Titans Masters/Takara Legends, i feel this figure would be a incredible addition! Especially with Masterforce figures like Super Ginrai and Headmaster Junior heads coming out and TFC's King Poseidon. I was already intrigued when I got the tfsource catalogue in the mail and saw a prototype of this. I know MMC is busy with the IDW market which isnt for me, but please make this happen!

Same here. I want the DJD & Overlord, but I want this to see the light of day too someday.
Vexwing
Real bummer this is shelved. On the plus side, it theoretically means getting the DJD sooner. Still, I really hope this gets released someday, it'd be a shame for all that development time to go to waste.

They feel they have better designs for other products that should sell better. If they feel strongly about that, and have unique and better offerings to propose to us, then I say go for it MMC, although at the time, many seemed very interested in that fake Shockwave that they teased about….
Curium
It would only be logical to be prepared for more situations
Scaleface
Forget Rapidus Hexatron, I say make the six-changing Cyclops/Shockwave they teased from this mold early on. I just like the idea of upgraded Shockwave into a sixchanger.
RustyBarnacles
Yeah, after having Terminus, I was hoping MMC would release Rapidus. A bit disappointing news.
Skrunklemin
Real shame . I was looking forward to having this and FP's.

Not according to this… http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans…ussion/1004817-interview-mmcs-griffith76.html

is this still going to happen?

Correction, the blue version of FP was just a digibash by MrElljay.
Robogeek28
As far as I'm aware, the Sixknight decos were digibashes.
Gryph
FP has been showing theirs off in both color schemes.

Given how well Terminus/Sixshot turned out, I lean in their direction as well.
Hopefully they can start to hit ETAs a bit more accurately in the coming year.
