It's so beautiful

So many parallel lines! Seriously can't wait for this and its repaints...and basically everything from MMC. Curious about the different sizes of the HoS Starscream, though.

Interesting. Hexatron and Cyclops are both giving me kind of as stiff and unposeable vibe. I'm really not in love with that color scheme for Cyclops either but no clue if it's final. I had tentatively planned to purchase both, but now I'm not so sure about either.

Meanwhile Air Screech- who I had previously dismissed because I didn't like it enough to get a Masterpiece-sized one- now has my attention at 3 and 5 inches.

I KNEW they said 5inches a while back. That must of been part of the confusion, it would be awesome if they offer them in the different sizes however unlikely. So does this mean the 6'-ish one is still planned?

Beautiful! Fans of the Sixshot repaints are probably excited. As much as I'd like to buy this, I have too many other things on my list, and he didn't make the cut.

And yes, I posted on my blog how I would MUCH rather have 5 inch Seekers. Would scale much better and be easier on the wallet.

I would almost definitely get one at five inches. I might talk myself into three at three inches. Unless I get a bigger place to live- which would require a number of unlikely things to happen at this point- I have no place for a huge one. Already have too darn many big-ass seekers flying around this place.

Have to say I'm a bit disappointed in what we've seen for Cyclop's released paint scheme. Not so bad I won't get it, but not nearly as nice as the dark purple they were playing with in their cg mock ups.



If I like Cyclops in hand, I'll keep going with one or more seekers. If I don't that'll probably be the end of it.

Different sizes are interesting. Not sure what to make of that. I also hope the red they use is better than what that proto has- the plastics/colors are why I never picked up the original Knight Morpher (although I do have and like the Annihilator).

Neat. I'm most looking forward to an Overlord redeco after having read the very kickass Last Stand of the Wreckers hardcover. Sixshot, eh, not so much.

Three different sizes for Air Screech? WTH? Very strange and interesting. Wonder if they are indeed going to offer him in those different size classes, perhaps aiming at the discerning collector who like the HoS design for the Seekers but not enough to necessarily drop a whole lot of bank on what would amount to a very big and expensive figure otherwise (judging by Cyclops' scale).

...I want this SOOOOO much, I can't wait to order it! ^^ Also nice that they'll be doing other remold/repaints!!

Has there been any indication of Hexatron's price yet? I'd like to be able to plan on picking up him and his repaints.

I really wish MMC would come on the forums and provide information like Headrobots does. I don't really see a place in any HoS collection for super tiny Starscream. In a niche line like this, who wants a Starscream half the size of their Optimus?

I wish anyone did business like Headrobots does. If you have a halfway decent question about headrobots, chances are they'll be by shortly with an answer, even if the answer is "we're not sure yet." None of these ridiculous "are they bankrupt? are they another company? what's up with this toy you solicited six months ago and haven't released?" questions that plague nearly every other company and result in endless arguments based entirely on supposition.

Headrobots seems to be aware that the best way to get us to give them money is for us to be relatively informed about the products they have. Why this is a novel concept is beyond me in the age of the internet where giving an update is literally as easy as what I'm doing right now.

It may have something to do with the language barrier. Whoever controls the headrobots account is clearly either a native English speaker or close enough. I have no idea about where the company is based- there's no particular reason they can't be from anywhere at all or even spread out all over the world- but they generally seem more interested in engaging the english-speaking audience than, say, Fansproject or iGear. Fansproject and iGear clearly have some English Speakers on staff but choose to engage us as little as possible. Meanwhile, whenever someone at TFC draws on a paper napkin we see it but they clearly struggle with English, so I don't know. Like I said, this is the age of the internet, these walls are supposed to be dissolving. Headrobots does it right. Random visits to answer any non-ridiculous questions that may have cropped up and a reminder that "hey, we're here, we hope you buy our stuff." Ain't hard.

Although honestly, MMC does a much better job than most of making their intentions known. When they have news, they report it. I'm not saying I wouldn't love to see them show up and directly answer some questions, but at least they don't vanish for months on end.

Very much ditto. I love being able to go onto headrobots facebook, twitter, or even ask them a question here and for them to actually answer questions people have. MMC is not as bad as iGear or TFC, they actually do respond to facebook questions reasonable often, but for other companies...fansproject, maketoys, igear, etc...I really hate having to rely on the information of "insiders" to be given updates/inception-style hints.

That's one of the reasons I like Headrobots so much: not only do I really like their products so far, but they also actively engage in dialogue with their customer-base.

Was thinking about the language thing too, but I can throw a rock and hit 30 people I know that speak English and Chinese. Hell, we've got plenty of guys here like BraveMax, exomega255, etc that can translate and they never seem to mind doing it. Wouldn't be hard to gather a few questions and direct them towards a company. Keep in mind though, that these groups tend to be cryptic even on the Chinese forums.

- I cannot stand Cyclops... and I'm about as big of a Shockwave fanboy as there is. I want to love this, but like it less everytime new pictures are posted. The mold (although accurate), the size... just, all of it.

- Outside of that though, the Seeker mold looks amazing. I think I'd have to go with a larger version to keep in scale with KMC, but I love that they give scaling options.

I want Sixshot now please. And 3" Seekers? I'm gonna have to read the comic now....

Being able to respond quickly should be the ideal for any company. Maybe they're:

* wary of a competitor posing as a possible buyer to get info.
* wary that they may be forced to commit to an answer that might make them look bad later on.
* maybe they prefer to let their work speak for itself.

Limited English skills should not be an obstacle, though. Anyone can access Google Translate or Bing Translator nowadays.

Wow, imagine if scale options became more common. It would end so much bickering, and everyone would get exactly what they wanted. Kudos to you MMC for such an innovative and forward-thinking move!!!

Unless the are differences in complexity or articulation, I don't see the point of the different size seekers. The middle size is likely to be around the $80-100 price point that causes a lot of people to pass, and the smaller option will still have people complaining about the price. Forget about getting a lot of people to triple up on the Cyclops-sized figures at that price point. I don't think I would spend Cyclops prices if the KMC-sized alternative is exactly the same, much like there was no point in owning all the different sizes of Cybertron Starscream.

I believe this is the first in-hand picture of Cyclops we've actually got with any type of color what so ever. The rest have been the wax or resin prototypes.

I for one can't want to grab all of these figures (probably just one Air Screech though).

So happy Screamer comes in several sizes. I was on the fence but I'll definitely get the 5 inch one.

Any idea of Skywarp & Thundercracker will also be available in the 3 size classes? If so, I wanna get all 3 Seekers at the same size, preferably 9 inches.

Hexatron is at the top of my 3rd Party wish list. Once he becomes available for preorder, I hope he will be affordable.

MMC has quite a few things to put out before this any who, so I wouldn't be surprised if this released dips into next year.
