Mastermind Creations Airborne Squad Awakening Revealed, Price and Release Confirmed

Mastermind Creations have posted full details on their Airborne Squad Awakening unlicensed third party Starscream. The Awakening version is confirmed to be exclusively available at the San Jose Toy Show this weekend 18 August. Remaining stock will then be sold online through store Ages 3 and Up. The Awakening version of the Hearts of Steel Seeker "will have the feel of a prototype, but the quality of a finished toy". The price for those wanting to get an early look at one of the next releases from Mastermind Creations is $100.

I have to say I am happy this is just a grey version of the figure. I'm all ready in for 3, saving money on a 4th is a good thing in my books ;P

I really like the black and white, it gives me a nice comic feel, plus sense it comes with all 3 weapons sets this will be the only one i get probably, unless i get the urge to do a hos action master thundercracker.

That is the same heads, the ear can flip, so for some people love the HOS style, flip that ear out, for someone dont like it, flip it back...then you will get old seeker head

By the way, the Pre-order booth is at Comic Ink, which a bay area local store but have booth at that show. And also, KM-01, KM-02, KMX-01, Cyclops will sale on the booth. And for special thx for the people who go San Jose Toy Show, MMC is planning to make a special gift for people who order it on booth.

They're actually closer to voyager sized, but yeah, they're insanely detailed.

Alt mode looks about as accurate to the source as you can get, but I'm willing to bet most will display this in that amazing bot mode!

Big ol boner for these! Easily the best 3rd party I've seen yet aside from the new sixshot coming out. Just hope they're not really $100 cuz that's too rich for my blood.

This guy looks fabulous! My only problem has more to do with his original design and not in the toy execution, and that's the fact that his vehicle mode doesn't look like anything! It's akin to both Megatron's movie and Prime vehicle modes in that neither look like something that could or even should fly.

I'm sure I'll eat my words when this guy ships, but for now I'm ever so slightly on the fence.

Don't really see the point in this, it just looks incomplete, like a prototype.

For anyone in the know, is MMC still planning on making this in multiple sizes? I wouldn't mind having the three main seekers but I doubt I'd get them if they were bigger than deluxe.

Oh by the way, The Piece in Picture, and the other piece have some paint (My favor style) will display at Comic Ink's Booth too, so that why I ask people come over to check it out by your eye, and take your pre-order there.

Jet mode and cattle plow are weird but based on a Leonardo DaVinci design. This "uncolored" version has a Ramjet and King Atlas (if yellow highlights are added) vibe. If $100 is the "exclusive" price, I'm guessing the more popular versions will cost less.
