iGear have updated their Facebook wall with some new images of their Rager and Spray. Small enough to fit in the palm of an adults hand, these updated Generation 1 Minibots retain their original diminutive stature but up the details and the poseability. These new images show what might be the final versions – fully painted, potentially finished articles.

oh shit thanks for reminding me

Haha no grudge. I don't hold them. I just enjoy a good debate every now and then.
I just caught the post this morning (I'm a little behind the times when it comes to checking up on the boards) and figured I would at least respond, which in hindsight probably wasn't necessary lol.
Zombies FTW.

Damn you carried this grudge for 3 months. Remind me never to piss you off. lol
A zombie thread on the day The Walking Dead returns. Me likey.

Haha wow. Don't even begin to think that you know anything about me. Wasn't trying to sound cool, though I can hear in your tone that you're attempting to do so yourself by berating someone who wonders why a company like HasTak can't produce figures that look like these, when instead we get figures like TFPrime Knockout, who look nothing like their animation counterparts.
I do appreciate 3rd party toys and accessories, but they're not affordable to most people who have bills and other more important things to worry about.
You would be doing yourself a favor if you didn't portray yourself as a pretentious child when posting responses in the future.

Um, Paypal?

Damn those look nice all together like that. I want to get the Maketoys version too but don't want to give my credit card info back to TFSource

See, they are legends sized!
Glad I'm not nuts on that one.
Rodentus prime
There's a pic on Transformer galaxy Hong kong Fan group on facebook showing them with the rest of the G1 Legends – they fit in really well though I still wish they were at least scout sized.
DPrime
True, but they were also much more expensive…
Nice. I don't care if these are small, they look nice with Deluxe Classics-types to me!

iGear has updated their Facebook page with official images of both Spray and Rager, as well comparisons with Generations Kup.

Eh…I'm not going to get sucked into debating the Hasbro loyalists.
Here's my take on these:
1) Awesome! Great deal, too. Thanks iGear!
2) Yeah, Seaspray doesn't look as good as Maketoys', but if I wouldn't have known of theirs, I would've done a little painting and been perfectly happy. As is, I'll probably get both. IGear's is good and certainly as fine/faithful (nay, more) as, say, Legends Cosmos, Wheelie, or Hot Rod(imus).
Huffer? I had briefly wished that the stacks/arms had been chromed, but then wondered "WHY?". That shit would only flake off and have the orange sprue-flash.
3) I think the G1ers (like myself) only ask 'Why didn't Hasbro do these?' (I can only guess) because we'd love to have them more easily available and cheaper (and see that Garage-Kit companies can make and mass-produce figures of characters already designed – it just seems like most of the work's been done).
BUT, these are almost here and they ARE made, so it's just gravy. I say, "Keep 'em coming iGear!" There are a lot of figures they've been working on that have been a long time coming (about 9, by my count).
Oh, and I agree with a couple of other members – It would be SWEET if one of the Third Parties (even iGear) doubled or tripled the size of these. I'd buy 'em again. Are you listening KOToys?!
Fishdirt
I'm getting them as my first ever third party figures and it works great because I had to ditch almost all my deluxe class chug figures and have since decided to just try to complete the legends class size g1s (makes for an easier display too). Igear listens pretty good to people (heck the basis of everything they do is based on some ideas fans want) so I wouldn't doubt an upscale in their future but I'm not sure what maketoys would do.
Igear has more minibots in the works according to the shadow pics on their site. I'd try to get the maketoys set as well but I live in Sweden and shipping would kill me as opposed to igear , 30 dollars for both with free shipping direct from them.

I like Hasbro, and I like a lot of what they do, but I also reserve the right to complain about what they do, and point out when something sucks without the avenging host of Hasbro White-Hats descending on me.
They do a lot for the fans, it's true (some fans even work for them), but let's not forget that there's not a single thing that a large company like Hasbro does that isn't tied to profit. I'm also tired of the defensive posture that suggests that things like the Classics line and homages are just a "favour" that Hasbro does for us fans, out of their bountiful hearts.
I'm sorry if I jumped on you a bit too harshly, but I see there being a line between someone who blows off steam by complaining about Hasbro or Michael Bay or Animated or whatever, and someone who attacks a fellow board member as vehemently. For one thing, these larger entities like Hasbro and Bay don't need us to stick up for them, and secondly, direct personal attacks on others in the community only further promotes conflict and anger here on the forums. We don't need that.

took the words out of my mouth. the god's collection is mostly '86 movie characters, but the price is right and huff-daddy is kinda nice with his. In the PoL you go.

I love the work of 3rd parties. I own a lot of the figures and accessories they've produced. I was fluffing nothing. I just can't stand the "Hasblow" crowd whinging all the time. And if you think I need to take it down a notch with posts like that, you really should get out more and read some of the other posts on this site.
SMOG
I gotta say… while I just noted earlier that Legends-sized figures have no real place in my collection, that picture Maketoy just released of their PG and Seaspray lined up with all the Hasbro Legends minbots looks DAMN NICE. Igear's huffer would fit very nicely in that crowd as well.

Both look really good, but alas the size of them just prevents me from getting them.

Same date that's been on their site for at least a month now:
As for maketoy pricing, someone said 45 for both? I thought I saw powerglide for 55 dollars and deluxe sized. Is there a site for the company?
