That's an uber specialist character to be selling. I guess it's a good time for those who didn't get Ironhide and want him....there will be plenty of unused heads floating around to make him Ironhide again.

I'd be in if it was just Ironhide, I don't want all that extra junk he comes with normally- but I'm not risking not finding a proper head.

Also, Warcry and Flameblast are Micromaster homages by FansProject! Third party Transformers companies seem to love repainting their toys into Micromaster as much as Hasbro!

I'd have jumped on a Black Diaclone version. Black Diakron Ironhide was my second "Transformer", after blue Diakron Trailbreaker.

I want the clowns who kept screeching that the "accessories" they dumped in with Ironhide and Ratchet didn't raise the price of those figures to see this. Here it is, fools, a super limited run without any of that useless crap that "somehow" costs $20 less even with 6 months of inflation behind it.

I really like Ironhide and Ratchet so I preordered this for now but I may change my mind. I love obscure character homages but this is really grasping at straws...

Who on earth would purchase a toned down paint-wise figure, obscure beyond obscurity headsculpt on it, with just one gun instead of two runners of accessories, for that price?

Mainly because people will buy it. Sad but true.

I placed a Pre Order just incase. I love the other two and the new paint scheme could be awesome, who knows? I have plenty of weapons from my other two to add to this one if needed.

I've been hesitant to throw down the $120 that Ironhide and Ratchet seem to go for without having ever seen them in person. I can probably stomach $99 to try out this simpler version, and I do have a soft spot for the obscure Micromaster homages.

Given the robot mode and slight pointlessness of another red version of the mould, Highjump seems like it would have been a more interesting choice than Tote.

I like this and placed a preorder. I don't have the other two. I am fine with my Classics Ironhide and Ratchet. This guy goes in my Post Season 4 display.

wow. that head doesn't look like EITHER of those two. Any other ideas? Sheesh. I wish it were at least different color. That would at least have a little more impact and differentiation on the shelf. A red repaint of a red guy... that's a hard sell at a hundred smackers. Black one, might have gotten that.

Honestly, I grew up with micromasters as my main transformers, mainly because I couldn't afford to get anything "deluxe" size. That blue hauler Micromaster was my version of Optimus Prime for years. I like seeing homages to Micromasters, they're a branch of the TF world that doesn't get enough respect. I'm sure there were plenty of kids who couldn't afford larger toys, and enjoyed micromasters instead.

It's a nice Micromaster homage, but I'd have been more interested in a black Weapon Specialist or a green Medical Specialist, as "negative universe" versions of the characters.

What if HasTak are preparing MP Ironhide/Ratchet so this is just iGear's way to get rid of these guys as many as possible?

I'll agree, I just don't get it... why would they not go with anything besides another red or white van? This just looks like a toned-down Ironhide with a new head. Black, blue, green, orange... anything!

A "Mystery Machine" repaint/remold would have been fun....

Love the mold, but have no interest in the character at all.
The only repaint I'd consider would be a mystery machine, or even just a random hippie van.

this is as they say, "An easy Pass". I got the only two figures i need with that mold(ironhide and ratchet). if you want to get more bang for your buck, do Prowl! you can get a lot from an old Fairlady 280Z mold. Prowl, Blue(silver) streak, Smokescreen. you could go a bit obscure and do the Gobot Z-mon. I would buy ALL 4 of those!!! but i don't need another ironhide mold clone. Thank you for making Ironhide and Ratchet, we fans really appreciate it, but its time to release new figures that you've teased us with. Dinobots, Cliffjumper, Bumblebee, Wreakers, Megatron...you see what i mean.

Ok, I would buy a Mystery Machine repaint of this mold, cause that would be kinda neat. although he probably wouldn't have a place on my shelf.

Transformers: Crossovers Fred! Turns from Mystery Machine to robotic Fred.

It'd be better if it was a Fredmaster.

Shattered Glass Soundwave would be interesting - but only if they remoulded the chest to open.

I don't mind the idea - I actually rather like Tote and in general approve very much of making toys of someone other than the usual suspects. He'd go nicely with some of the Universe 2.0 toys.

Those who purchased Ironhide from iGear earlier will be blessed with an extra head to use on this repaint. Comic Ironhide to the rescue!

As someone who prefers to have repaints be NEW CHARACTERS, I see no reason why I would want TWO IRONHIDES, when I could have Ironhide and Tote.
