IGear MW-05: Cogz

I have to say... I love Igear.

I was on their Facebook page five minutes ago and didn't see it.

I hope they fix the head somehow, I don't like heads that are integrated into the body.

Yeah, but for Gears wasn't that sorta how his character design was? Don't remember exactly since I never paid him much attention, but that pic looks extremely accurate to me.

That thing is so bought it isn't even funny!

Yeah, but the whole "head-box" was able to rotate which doesn't seem to be the case here. He also didn't have the alt mode kibble obstructing the movement.

I got to admit, eventhough they take their time bringing figures out and have delays, iGear is one of a few who REALLY REALLY listen to their fans!!! I LOVE iGEAR!!!!!!

I voted no because I have yet to grab anything in this line.

They look cool but they just don't fit anywhere in my collection. They basically just continue my peeve with the G1 line being all wonkily out of scale "just because".

Outside of just purchasing, I know people are still waiting for stuff from Igears too, myself included, but they're a nice upgrade from the small unposeable G1 stuff.

It looks like his head will be able to rotate within the head box. If you notice in the picture that he face is turned slightly to the left to look into the "camera"...

Igear conitinues to knock it out of the park. This Gears looks outstanding and is an instant buy from me.

This! I might not collect all of them due to space issue more than anything else but seeing them a reality is so awesome!

Im just going to setup an automatic deduction from my paycheck right to I-gear! It would be much easier for me. lol!

but on a serious note, Igear is again giving us exactly what we want!

I am glad I held off on preordering Brawn and Cosmos. Hopefully this one will be ready for release along side those two.

So bought alongside Brawn. He's one of the Ark crew members I still need.

Exactly. I really hope with all the crap going on with Hasbro we don't lose out on this greatness. There's a lot I would like to see Igear do that I know Hasbro just won't do.

Interesting. Gears wasn't on the original iGear "eight silhouettes" pic. I wonder if he will be replacing someone (like Pipes, who made little sense being pictured when none of the other 86 retools were) or if there will now be nine (or more! Scout Warpath?) figures in the MW line.

But some people in the fandom are dead set against letting us have awesome figures like these and have to keep prodding Hasbro about it. I guess they're jealous. I'd be too if I was so against third party figures I couldn't see how awesome this Gears was.

Damn, looks as good as Brawn and I gaven´t even preordered Brawn yet...

Don't worry, the first promo shots of Brawn came out in December, and we only got the preorder in March for a July release. I'm guessing that Gears (and the other minibot who will be his wave-mate) will be up for preorder in July for a November release.

Kinda cool -but I wish they had done something different with his head.

I look at this an laugh. I don't think it was too long ago people though Igear was the devil. NOW NOW...i have more Igear stuff than anything else (3rd party wise)

Been waiting for this guy and others have said, IGear is quickly becoming my fav' 3rd party product go-to!

Also, I love that- although it's one piece like the original toy- they found a way to move his awkwardly shaped head left to right on what appears to be a swivel. Awesome job IGear!

Exactly. I just can't see them really doing Hasbro much harm since the Igear lines are all directed at the adult collector. We're really not that big on Hasbro's radar. The bulk of their money is always going to come from the sales for children. And this I can accept.

From a business stand point I don't see why they don't partner up with Igear and have them be their collector line producers. It would be a win win for everyone.
