Personally I approve, since not everyone will have every version of the mold, but some might still want the Headmaster for their version. Previous ones were matched for Hardhead, and while the TFCon one is awesome, it's a limited run not many will get to own.

Still in maybe territory. I don't think I'd pay as much as I did for Stronghold ($40) for it. Is that visor translucent? Would be a plus. Probably is, considering the knife. Of course, it depends on if I actually spring for a Takara Onslaught.

I'm buying it because it's what I always whated. A transformer that can shank other transformers.

How much is this likely to cost? I bought the original Hothead set used so my old G1 Chromedome could have a real HM head, but I might buy this set for Onslaught, he looks so evil with it. And extra guns = good.

I wonder if this head would work on the ultra silverbolt body... Would work rather nicely with skyfall.

I dont get why robots need knives? Guns make sense knives do not. Go try to stab your car with a knife and see what is damaged more.

i think the drawn image shows a better colour for onslaught and the head for it does look like a regular onslaught. i might try to get this because i dont have any other headrobots.

Awesome. Can't wait to display both my Hothead and Butcher beside each other. The TFCon one is tempting too. I just might have to pick it up to complete the set. This is absolutely one of my favorite molds.

Good Point although the Movie prime blades were Goofy in my opinion.

But I do love the Laser axe in G1! thats what I wanted to ultimately get to if a blade is to do what knives do to skin to metal then thay would have to be New technology, not nessarily explained but at least its known that its made in a way we dont understand. like the gundam plasma swords or in Transformers plasma axe.

I do like the Headmasters here, and I think it would be neat to see more heads for more characters. It would be nice to see say a Sunstreaker headmaster.

Stronghold is an earlier name for the Japanese character Fortress, and the Onslaught body represents his old Transtector. Short version: new take on Fort Max.

This is "Onslaught, only he's a Headmaster." In fact it seems to mesh better with the US concept of Headmasters, which allows a robot to be modified into one.

My immediate question was... how would this comparison look?? That's how I plan to display them.

I love all of Headrobots new heads. It's a shame there probably isn't a big enough market for a new Zarak.

Looks pretty damn dark, I like it. Gonna be nice to have all the Onslaughts lined up. I really liked the mold from the start even if it isn't the greatest attempt at looking like his G1 incarnation. Not a big fan of translucent knives and weapons (unless they are with translucent figures), but it is pretty nifty attached to the gun. Will be ordered as soon as BBTS has the preorder up.

Nice! I wanted the Hardhead one... but I don't have a Hardhead. I have an Onslaught, but the Stronghold one is a little out of my range.

Hasbro's Hardhead was crying out for a new head, so Headrobots gave us just that. And they made him a Headmaster, like he should have been.

The Stronghold exclusive is kind of cool. I mean, it looks barely anything like Fortress Maximus, even if you remove some paint and wish really hard. But at least Fortress Maximus was a Headmaster, so it's a cool exclusive for some people to own.

But I don't understand what this is supposed to be. Hasbro's Onslaught wasn't crying out for a new head. His old head is fine, and he didn't need to be a Headmaster. While it's cool that they did a remould to the Hothead face, and made some new daggers, I can't imagine that anyone ever thought "I hope the next thing Headrobots make is a Headmaster Onslaught that reuses Hothead's guns/backpack again"

That said, if they absolutely had to redeco/remould this thing again, I couldn't have come up with anything better. You're a bit limited in what you can do when you've made an accessory that only works with one toy (ignoring the G1 compatibility)

This one's gonna be a pass for me. The weapons looks awesome, but I have no idea what I'd do with that head.

ONE of my versions of that mold has to have the head it came with!

Seconded. It is the logical next figure to do. Mindwipe could seriously use a new headmaster head and a gun! My other Decepticons consider taking a knife to a gun fight rather silly, and taking a knife made of cockpit glass to said fight downright ridiculous!
