Updates have been a little sparse on this project, but it appears that the third party company GCreations will finally be releasing their first figure from the Combiners Legend line of Dinobot homages! Courtesy of site sponsor Robot Kingdom and GRAVE 模攝工作室 on weibo, we’ve received in-package images of the Thunderous figure, an homage to the Dinobot Sludge. Thunderous will also serve as one of the leg limbs for the combined mode once all figures are released.

Outer boxes are the same. There is a sticker on the bottom left to indicate it’s the limited blue version.

Perhaps @imfallenangel can show the front of Hammer and Blade boxes to confirm.

I didn’t think the product box was different between the blue version (diaclone) and regular red chest Slag (Hammer) by G-Creation. I think the image of the figure on the box will show whether it is the red or blue chest version. I believe the blue version was limited to 200-300 copies in total.
There is not any difference in the accessories /colours of accessories. The difference between the actual figure is either the blue or red chest.
Don’t forget there is also a blue and red version of Swoop (Blade).
Wow – who was the seller? Clearly they didn’t protect your order. This set isn’t cheap. Seeing that winds me right up. Hopefully the figures inside were ok?

Mine came is these boxes (sadly they arrived fairly crumbled) if that helps:

Is Blue Hammer box different than the Red? Don't want to accidentally buy the wrong one.

Saw it the other day.
I think it's recent but it's nothing more than a full robot frame that you insert the robot's into, and while the idea for a more stable Shuraking, it ends up looking pretty bad as it takes away from what makes Shuraking look badass and makes it into a very bland looking generic thing.
I was hoping it would be similar to the Jinbao Devastator pants as THAT would be something that I wouldn't hesitate on, but this goes way too far into a full body frame just like Legacy Menasor.

I saw those on Instagram a few weeks ago. I contacted the creator and he said the Shuraking kit will cost $365.

This somehow found its way in front of me, not sure how old it is:

Sure thing. He was really the first 3P TF I bought and has been the centerpiece since.View attachment 30053236
Dinobots and their cousins get their own shelf, but they've kind of outgrown it. It's getting kind of tight and the recent Hasbro/Takara releases don't quite fit yet. A few others (Scorn, Kingdom Dinobot, the original Dinobot, the various Fossilizers, and some others) aren't shown.

That would look pretty neat dude. Please post a pic of Shuraking with blue arms when time allows?
raindance773
I have my originals with blue Swoop and blue Slag. I can send you a pic of the combined Shuraking with blue arms if you'd like. I also have red Swoop.

I don’t have the regular version so I can’t compare. However, I find that the dark version looks better in combined mode (the colours are more uniform). In Dino and Bot modes original version looks best. So it all depends on how you want to set them up.
Nemesis Compactor
Black/Dark versions seems like a cliche, but he still looks really cool

Would love some side-by-side comparison photos of regular and purple/evil versions. Not just combined mode but individual 'bots too. There's very few galleries around of the dark version – and none I've found so far doing comparisons.
mouschi
Thanks for the response! do you have the regular? How is he comparatively? Also, if you have dark superion, who do you like best?
Madox003
I have him displayed on my desk for close to a year now, and I must say he is holding up quite nicely. He’s still holding his left arm up and nothing seems to be flopping around (and that’s without floor polish or crazy glue). And if you setup some LEDs, his translucent parts will give off a nice glow. Overall quite happy with the dark variant.

i still haven't setup dark shuraking yet but am thinking about it … is he more stable than the regular version or the same?
SJW
I cannot recall where I saw this but it was in respect of a collector showing how they created the base for the figure to stand on.
Quite an eye catcher if displayed in this way:

My intention was to get the set and I only managed to get Grimlock and Snarl. I got distracted collecting the SS86 Dinos and getting hooked on JoyToy Warhammer 40k line.
Hopefully I will try to complete this and have the option of displaying in combined mode.
mouschi
yes, it has a great presence!

I found this from a seller seeling this at a great price. Is it worth it. Looks good overall
Riley23
Yep. Best combiner I've ever seen.
