First look at Fansproject Menasor, Insecticon Repaints, Assaulter

Thanks to 2005 Board members Jarodimus and Peaugh who have tweeted and shared several new images of upcoming Fansproject releases from TFcon. First up we have two prototypes of bots that resemble Stunticons and, according to Peaugh, are from a combiner. This plays heavily into the rumor that Fansproject has a Menasor unofficial product in the works. As of yet, these not Stunticons do not have names. Also from Peaugh, we see repaints of Fansproject's Causality Insecticon figures in Generation 1 Deluxe Insecticon colors. Homages to Barrage, Chop Shop and Venom are shown. Next up, are pics of Assaulter, who is FansProject's next Warbot figure and a homage to Broadside. The figure has four modes and two faces.

Additionally, Fansproject's recently released original character, Steelcore, is shown with two repaints of his "powermaster" partner in orange and red.

UPDATE: More images of not-Stunticons added. From Jarodimus: These 2 are not-Breakdown and not-Wildrider. Release date target is November for these two, $50-ish each. They're hoping to have everyone out by May 2013.I saw pics of Motormaster on an FP member's phone. Looked to-scale with the cars. Vehicle mode faithful to G1. Was told transformation is along the lines of G1. Combiner parts store in trailer (I think). Not-Menasor combined mode should be a bit taller than Crossfire Bruticus

Assaulter: More images added. Planned release date is October. Price will hopefully be around $90

Whoa, out of left field. Nice catch! These guys look awesome! And now comes the speculation about pricing and size and everything else under the sun! Let the insanity begin! (Really hope these guys are scaled to FP Bruticus and MT Giant, heh. That blurry picture with Warbot Defender can give us some idea of size though.)

Again thanks to Peaugh on Twitter, Fansproject confirm recolours of their Insecticon moulds as the Deluxe Insecticons!

Very nice too, I think I prefer them to the originals.

Ha! I don't if anyone else suggested this (50 people probably did!), but I suggested this exact thing as the possible TFcon 2012 exclusive back in December!

....As we close the gap on Third Part Gestalts of awesomeness, I idly bide my time in anticipation for when someone tackles Predaking. Because.. All of their gestalts look great and I hate being poor. ;_; That said, I may need to start saving for these, as they look awesome.

Do I detect some remolding in some of those? Notably Not Shrapenel and Not Kickback? Either way, I sese those will be the only two I might pick up as I like the colors of the Not Deluxe Insecticon Kickback, and well.. I think Not Shrapenel Deluxe Version is based on a scarab? And I loves me scarabs.

They look very cool, but nothing too spectacular. I will buy them only because I know Fansproject will do a neat job on them. However, Im not going to complain as others frequantly do about the scale size because I know my Favorite company for combiners TFC will make the massive Stunticon set I truly desire.

Those insecticons are pretty bad ass

Not sure who the cars are but I prefer a sleeker style car, not the ones with pointed angles and such.

I'm guessing the not-Stunticon limbs will be the size of (hopefully smallish) Deluxes, and no bigger than that (seeing how Defender himself is a smallish Voyager). Maybe they're bigger than Scouts to better incorporate feet/hands? (Probably unlikely since I'm more inclined to think not-Motormaster's trailer will be better able to hide combiner kibble.) Hope more pictures and details about these guys surface. In the end, I'm more concerned with the final size of the combined form and its scale compared to FP Colossus and MT Giant, since that'll be how he'll be displayed 99% of the time for me.

Awesome... so excited to get something tangible to confirm (sort of) the Stunticons. I was really hoping that FP would push the IP limits on both the figures, and especially the cars. It seems they are putting quite a bit of their own spin on, which is fine because they do such an awesome job.

I hope these are coming out sooner than later, as a good 3P Menasor is the thing I want most on this earth (maybe tied with a good Blitzwing).

I somehow missed out on Steel Core, but I will not miss on Assaulter or Menasor. I also skipped on the Insecticons originally, but I may consider these repaints. My poor wallet.

Actually, I think that's a given. There is NO WAY that they are not going to capitalize on those when they know how huge the demand for them was.

Right on. I love FPs stuff and I have wished for a long time for them to sell some weapons kits or something like that. I'd pay good money to get a backup set (or 3) of Bruticus's weapons. As it is, I'll probably end up buying the repaint Insecticons for the guns.

Those insecticons look like they are holding the original G1 insecticons' weapons. Also, what else is coming for SteelCore? I hope he combines with something.

Since the stunticons look like they tranform the same but into different cars, i'd say they are Dead End and Breakdown.

It may be that early prototypes don't rotate, but I can't see the final version not being free wheeling.

Oh my God, that Chop Shop is awesome! My parents got me a G1 Chop Shop from a flea market when I was a kid, and it ended up being one of my favorite Transformers (so much so that it's all broken now, lol). I really like the original Causality Insecticons, so Chop Shop's an easy buy; probably will get the others, too.

stunitcons look dope, but warbot looks a bit disappointing in color. maybe the angle but his legs look funny.
regarding menasor, im glad transbot has been vindicated but i fear the pomp to come.
