Looks perfect so far! Bizarre that we're seeing 03 up before 02 though...

I'm hoping for, no, I'm demanding landing gear tilt. If the landing gear can't be splayed outward slightly like a real imaginary jet then FP might as well just throw it in the garbage and start over from scratch.

Alt mode is looking pretty sweet. Looks enough like RID's metalhawk's alt mode that someone could probably do a pretty cool custom out of him.

You can see where the hinge is in front. It's just a prototype so the cockpit isn't cast in clear plastic yet.

fansproject should use the headmaster to the wolf as the wolfs head and robot head and make it transform like he would have in the show that would be a nice touch to see done

Brainstorm's alt mode is sweet. Weirdwolfs wolf head looks a little odd but it's a small complaint. If these guys are half as awesome as Chromedome I'll be very happy.

Not amazing but still pretty good. I'm just happy to alleviate the sting of not having Botcon Weirdwolf, I could never justify buying him at his aftermarket price.

Headmasters is absolutely my focus for 2013. There are tons of other things I want but nothing gets in the way of Function-X and Fort Max.

I'm somewhat glad of this for spending reasons, but the Function bots just don't do it for me. They are quite lanky and too "humanoid" for me. Maybe it's just Chromedome and the others won't be as bad, but the rounded limps and feet just make it look too much like either a human or a female type bot.

Plus I have a love for the G1 headmasters, even though they are quite inferior in design. Brainstorm and Highbrow are my favorites, so I suppose seeing bot modes of Brainstorm may swing me over to liking them.

Experience tells me that if we are seeing the resin prototype, it usually means they are a lot farther down the road than it appears. My bet in the 2 months, we'll see the pre-orders up with the first shipments hitting by May. Think about what happened with X-1 Code (aka Chromedome). We saw the grey proto and before we knew it, he was available.

worst part (for me) is not knowing the release date. chromedome was feb/march then SURPRISE heres a charge in December, not doing that again

Liking Brainstorm. Weird wolf looks... Weird. I don't know. I'm just not feeling him for whatever reason. Maybe he'll look better in color.

Weirdwolf was always my favorite Headmaster. Bummed that the wolf head looks so terrible.

I was gonna argue with you about the wolf head until I took another look at it. It needs to be just a smidgen shorter and then it wouldn't be so bad. I'll wait for color protos but I think I'm still on board regardless.

Brainstorm has better landing gear than the "real" planes TFC made for Uranos...

Hrmmm, had a KO Brainstorm when I was a kid, kind of tempted to get this. KO was red and yellow though, which was strange.

FPJ is releasing a ton this year. Good stuff so far.

Funny, was just putting an after market Reprolabel rub symbol on Function-X1 last night and thinking... I can't wait for Weird Wolf to show up so I can have him side-by-side with Chromedome! Needless to say, I love these FP Headmasters and eagerly anticipate the next few. A pre-order when they finailly do show up? DUH!!

But...But...But.... he's called "Weeeeird Wolf", guys. Emphasis on the 'Weird'.

The transformations are going to be nuts. Weirdwolf's mid section is the upper legs of the robot mode, and Brainstorm's wing guns are his feet. I hope we get more from Jizai after this series. I love his engineering style so much.

Brainstorm's a definite must buy for me. I was happy with the size and colors of Botcon Weirdwolf (if Headrobots had ever made an upgrade kit for him with a headmaster he'd be perfect) but gotta go with FP's version as well...
