Fans Want It FWI-3 ROTF Leader Optimus Prime Jet(fire)pack

Interesting. I have yet to get these guys' stuff but if it looks as anywhere near as good as the Starscream and Ironhide set, it might be worth checking out.

It's about time guys....it's taking me forever (laziness) to customize my own.

Ohhh, this could be cool. I hope they go all out on this: New weapons, 'boots', chest piece...Maybe slightly bigger turbines too. Would be expensive, but also a must for a lot of people, I'd reckon. Don't let us down FNW!

Interesting, but what is this supposed to accomplish that combining with ROTF leader Jetfire doesn't do?

Interesting but odd choice. What does this do that combining with Leader Jetfire doesn't already accomplish.

I'd rather they gave us a full-size trailer to go with the Leader Prime mold, complete with ringed arsenal array when you open it up to store all his gear (battle blades, shield, axe, buster cannon, mechtech guns, etc.). But that's probably a really tall (and expensive) order.

Still, I may pick this up depending on how it turns out. I bought their first two sets for Starscream and Ironhide and those are fantastic.

Nice... At least we can now have a posable version... The ROTF link-up version limits the leg movement. I do hope the come up with the lower limb attachments as well.

Was impressed by their Ironhide cannons, have the Starscream set on the way, and will probably get this one too. I had also gotten a whole extra Leader Prime just to install the poseable hands and reprolabels to, so now he'll get a jetpack too!

An admirable effort, but unless the upgrade is bigger than the figure itself it's not gonna be accurate or visually appeaing, and that picture tells me it won't. But still, at least somebody's trying something new.

I am yet to dip into collecting any variant of that Leader Optimus Prime mold, though I am looking at getting at least one of three I have in mind. This has alot of potential appeal and I for one am interested.

Also, in before Sentinel.

That's what I was hoping too. Rather than a small part here and there, which is getting very expensive.

HA! that's funny. I was just thinking to myself last night, as I was downstairs playing some COD MW3, and looking at my leader ironhide and starscream with their FWI addons, "I wonder what the next thing is they are going to make?" Now I know. lol.

The ironhide and starscream kits are awesome! If you don't have them, get them!

I second this motion! After the latest Striker update, to me, the last accessory I'd want is the DOTM trailer as described above.

I want that more than anything! It would be a miracle and would definitely sell a lot of units, even if it was expensive. FANS WANT IT!

I do have their Ironhide set and I'm very happy with it, so I know their quality is good, which means I'll at least follow the news about this set's development.

If it's anything like that^ I'm in! I have the SS kit and it was well worth it.

I'd rather have a jetpack for one of the three voyager molds.

I don't understand why no 3rd party is making power up prime or even a jet wing prime for HFTD Optimus. It is an awesome mold for it, and gives people something we don't technically already have.

Bomb news here !!!! If projected and made like Primus wants, this could be one of the best selling 3rd party product of all time !!

If the result will be visually near to this beast, I'll cry.....

I already have both of those, so it really doesn't matter to me.

Frankly I don't think jet fire even came close to capturing how great that looked in the movie. The combo is a weird cumbersome mess (even the fan transformation- which is an improvement over the official version)

I have seen a couple customs where jet fire was hacked to pieces that seemed pretty good.

If they actually get this right (which is far from certain), this would be very interesting. I'd probably get it.

This is relevant to my interests.

If this add-on is as big as that, the cost will probably be pretty ridiculous.

Which one are you going to get?

This looks interesting, and I have the Ironhide cannons so I can say that the quality on those is quite good. If FWI can keep the quality up, then this newest set may be worth getting.

Hopefully this fits all versions of the leader optimus mold. I liked their Ironhide add ons, but the instructions were a bit lacking.

Nice idea, I would rather some one went the whole way and made a parts forming jetfire that become the jetpack and weapons etc but unless they went with a smaller prime the cost would be insane.

I also, would prefer to this for the HFTD Voyager Prime but would LOVE a good Jetfire-pack Prime accessory kit period that doesn't look like Jetfire's corpse stuck to his back!

I have to agree that if they actually intend to do this right (which is the only way I'd bother with it- I already have has/tak's half assed power up)- it might have been smarter to work with a good voyager Prime.

The real shame of all of this is that so far the only GOOD power up Prime that's been produced is that little keychain one.

But, if they get this right, I'll think very hard about purchasing it (even if it is pricey).

The really sad thing is this made me want to dig out my Prime/Jetfire combo- until I dug out some pictures to remind me...

Last time I built it, I threw it in the closet shortly after. I would have had to make space for it to display and the result just wasn't worth it.

This is a nice idea.

However if they somehow make replacement arms for the ROTF Leader Megatron that would be a god send.

Maybe because HFTD voyager scales with the better decepticon figures and has buster guns and a matrix.

Color me interested. The combo with the Jetfire figure has grown stale to me.

My Leader Prime scales just fine with the deluxe, voyager, leader & legends figures.

Oooo that's nice. I think I'd prefer this to be on DMK Prime and get the trailer for RoTF Prime. Someone did a custom trailer already or is WIP and it looks amazing.

great idea, but seems so late. had this been available 2 years ago, I would have jumped all over it I could think of 10 DOTM upgrades I'd buy in a heartbeat over this...

I want this,only if Jetfire can transform from jet mode into his own robot mode. then combine with optimus as a jet pack & give optimus wings, boots & forearms. maybe a few hand gun weapons.

I want 3rd party ROTF jetfire to snap apart into armor pieces like Energon Wingsabre did for optimus prime's combined mode. The perfect size for this Jetfire would be Ultra size.

I don't need anymore lame duck mech tech jet packs for optimus,that has no jetfire robot mode. Leave the lame stuff for hasbro & takara to create. I hold the 3rd party companies to a much higher competency level.

Sweet! I love the other FWI kits and this looks great. Reminds me of that Voyager Prime with jetpack that never came out.

Also will finally let me display Jetfire by himself.

Awesome. I was just starting to build the feet. ThIs looks to be more accurate jetpower mode. Am looking fwd to it.

About time someone got around to it, but as stated, it just won't be accurate. Its not just a simple backpack and leg attachment. He had parts thrown all over him.
