Fans Toys have shared some color prototype images of Tesla, their interpretation of a Masterpiece style Perceptor. Check out the new images of the figure, in both his robot and microscope modes as well as some comparisons with other Masterpiece figures including Wheeljack, Optimus Prime, and Bumblebee, after the break.

I've honestly not checked in a long time

Honestly, IDK anyone unloading Ver.1 for $50.00.
MacrossA
I actually like the original version… $50?

@MacrossA I got Tesla 2.0 available on the Buy and Sell Thread. If your interested
CyclonuS_ZerO
XD Nah, I meant first version.
MacrossA
The new tesla? I'll bite
CyclonuS_ZerO
I'd sell you mine for a clean hunnit broskie.
Treadshot 2.0
It really just depends on the aesthetics you prefer. If you want a more updated or IDW looking preceptor, go with Tesla version one. If you want one that looks more like the cartoon, Jansen is clearly the best choice. I actually went with Tesla 2.0 and I’m still contemplating getting a Janssen because as great a figure as it is, I feel like Janssen captures that slightly dumpy cartoon look. One of the things I really liked about G one was how not all of the robots looked like superheroes. You had goofy looking dudes like Hoist and Huffer and Seaspray and cosmos, and yes, preceptor at times. In his case, he didn’t have weird or funny looking proportions, he just looked kind of like a regular guy hanging out with a bunch of athletes. Especially in the movie where he’s with blur, Springer, ultra Magnus, and RC for most of the flick.

Forget Janssen and Tesla and go with Tesla 2.0

My local toy store has this guy for $125… going through this thread though I'm not sure it's worth spending that over getting the XTB Janssen. Thoughts/feelings/opinions?

If you have a Menards near you, go to the screw section and check out their "Microscrew" drawers. I actually had to ask where it was but they have a ton of those small Fans Toys style screws in little bags for like 5 cents a piece. I bought a bunch and they all fit most of of 3rd party stuff for repairs and what not. I fixed several Fans Toys with those.
MacrossA
Best bet is a hardware store like Lowes which has a screw section, or a radio shack, or hobby lobby

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement screw for the back of the head? The screw on mine got severely stripped.

Anyone has a picture of FT-09 with the bonus face included with Sovereign?

@pezley any updates?
Marcelo Antunes
In fact, I ended up getting the files today from the person that printed them to me. She could get the file in Thingiverse (and I still cannot). Not sure if I can upload it here.

I can re-create the part and ill pop a link here to the file. If I get time tomorrow I'll take a look. It's a simple enough looking piece.

@pezley @collectorcrafts does this look like something you can produce and sell?

After I managed to print the 3d piece, and after a successful one-hour surgery, I finally managed to repair my FT-09 Tesla!View attachment 28931140 View attachment 28931141 View attachment 28931142 View attachment 28931143 View attachment 28931144 View attachment 28931145 View attachment 28931146 View attachment 28931147 View attachment 28931148
