Dr. Wu: DW-PT02a Dark Force and DW-PT-03 Prime Guns

TFW2005 member uranusdd has taken the time to share some of his photographs of two of Dr. Wu's upcoming products.

The first set, DW-PT-03 Prime Guns, has a pair of silver blasters for your Transformers: Prime Optimus Prime. These blasters appear to be identical to the official one that comes with First Edition Voyager Optimus Prime, so be wary if you're looking for official weapons.

The second set is a prototype of DW-PT02a Dark Force, which is styled after a shard of dark energon. It appears pink in the photos, but we are being told it is not the final color.

Staff Note: This is an unofficial product not produced or endorsed by Hasbro or Takara/Tomy.

Staff Edit: at this time, we cannot confirm whether the Prime blasters will be sold individually or in pairs.

Dem arm cannons man.

I really like this trend of getting little things for newer figures like accurate weapons. I mean, people would shell out for weapon packs and stuff like that. Especially when Powerizers and mechtech dissipoint on all fronts. There is gimmicky stuff for kids, and then their is absolute shit. Powerizers take the take for awful design. Why don't the damn things even lock?

I know, right? Looks like Dr. Wu is going to double/triple dip on us with their soon to be relased TF Prime Upgrade packages 2 and 3, coming with dual swords and non-faceplate Prime head. And who knows, maybe there will even be an Ultimate TF Prime Upgrade Package that includes all the upgrades, after everyone's bought them individually

Personally I think the blaster that came with the FE looks just as good on the PRID toy as it does with the FE Prime.

Those guns are bought/pre-ordered on sight. I always hate when they only give you one of a weapon, and even worse if it's colored the wrong color, but these look perfect and very show accurate.

Can't wait to outfit my Optimus with them.

CAN A moderator change the name of the upgrades in the post? the name is wrong, the right name for this product is "DW-TP03 MAX POWER" and it will be sold in some stores individually and some stores in a set depending on stores preference. thanks

Hmm...No one has commented/realised the Megatron has a few new bits as well? His shoulders and upper arms, shins, and even his back is different.
Now I'll be interested in that.

Edit: Goodness, his forearms and the entire inside of his torso is new as well.

Okay, I definitely want the guns still, but why they didn't just put the Dark Energon shard/crystal/whatever in with the guns is beyond me. It seems kind of silly to sell it separately, to be honest.

I hate that we have to do the "Watch out for this KO" and "We don't endorse this product" thing every time. Hasbro did this to themselves when they failed to release the product properly themselves the first time. I don't feel bad for them that someone else is stepping in and filling the void. I'll buy those guns and won't feel the least bit guilty.
