I appreciate the effort but I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who's tired of 3rd party companies releasing a Not-Arcee using the same old, not really working figure style with the non supporting legs and such.

I was wondering the same thing, especially considering where the beads plug into. This figure looks better in sculpt and quality then Valkyrie, IMO. Will wait to see more to give final judgement though.

I'm personally curious to see if the rumours that Hasbro are working on a Classics Arcee come to anything.

Otherwise, Animated Arcee is an excellent toy and a great representation of car-Arcee.

No brainier for me, already preordered looks great, I like the stand, but I kind of wish you didn't have to remove that part to plug it in.

well as far as the figure goes looks amazing, and the best arcee 3rd party imo. But where the hell do they get off charging more than Warbot for it, really, 98$ for now I'm passing thats just way too much

I love how they blatantly show this thing is very unstable without the provided stand. At least they're being upfront about it. After being burned on the Impossible Toys mold (which, btw seems to have been the basis for this fig - they are FAR too similar), I'm very hesitant here. The head sculpt looks a little better now, too, for some reason, but... Meh.

I dunno. After shelling out the ridiculous amount of cash for Impossible Toys' Arcee, Paradron Medic AND TFCon Nightbird, I think I've had my fill of loose fembots.

I actually really like this figure. Much better than Valkyrie in my opinion. I think Valkyrie fits more with G1 figures, while this should fit nicely with classics/henkei/universe/generations. My biggest gripe about this so far is how the arms are just "fold them up any way you can as long as you can't see them" under the car. Next would be the price.

As much as I want this, I'll wait for some reviews before I make a final decision.

Definitely looks like the best of the 3rd-part Arcees, in terms of design and aesthetics. The head sculpt is great, the best I've seen for a G1 Arcee figure. Still, I'd rather wait to read some reviews about the quality (i.e. joint looseness, plastic quality) first before taking the plunge.

I'm also surprised the review didn't show her posed next to another deluxe figure, just to give a sense of her size. From that shot of her with iGear Prime in the original announcement thread, she looks a bit big to me.

And thus, 1000 new fanfics were born

Damn after years of yearning for an Arcee toy the fans are getting the reiteration of the female bot, one after another. This is pricey..... I have to wait for a review after hearing the reviews on the impossible arcee mold. It would be interesting if Hasbro will make a classic version of Arcee...

We'll wait and see.... but it's not the priority with the 2010 Takara campaign too much on hand...

This looks pretty good, but Arcee is not a character I'm interested in enough to spend 3rd party prices for. Also, rumors of Classics Arcee are enough to keep me from ordering.

I agree. My urge for a G1 style Arcee has passed, twice over.

I like the other one better. Looked more G1 toon to me, and seemed to fit better sitting with G1 toys. This one looks too anime. Still a nice looking figure though, but not for me.
And diecast? There's no point on this figure. Guess it's for nostalgia? But I do hate diecast parts so I may be biased.

Delicate looks surprisingly detailed and in good shape. Until we have a familiar reviewer to have this in hand we do not know the true quality yet. I wonder if there is another way to order this at the same price?

Its a coronation set for Faith leader and seems to come with an Orion Pax and Megatron head.

OK.... When did Prime ever have a cape. What's with the severed Megatron & other guy head? In some fan fiction, did Prime stop going 'Give me your face' to 'Hell, I'm taking your whole head now'? Might as well have Prime come with an apple pealer, it would make as much sense as the heads/capes.

To answer some of your questions, in the comics Prime wore a cape when Megatron and Prime joined forces. Orian Pax became OP and I dont know why they would have Megatron's head as one of the accessories. Back to topic...

There's possibility that igear will make a scaled-down MP Megatron. Don't know if it'll really happen (considering the complexity of the normal toy). So everyone is guessing the Megs head is meant to replace the normal head if they decide to go through with it. But we really don't know for sure.

As for Arcee, she is the best incarnation of Arcee I've seen so far. I think she looks far better than the Valk version, simply because Valk's arms are way too tiny. This one is much better proportioned.

But there is no way in HELL I'm spending $100 on this toy. I wouldn't price it more than $50. (I MIGHT be capable of getting talked into picking one up for $60, but no more after that)

And that's the first I've heard of Hasbro rumored to be making a Classics Arcee. Considering I'd never pay the price they're asking for on this one, that's definitely interesting. I'll have to see if that turns into anything (and wouldn't it be great if it did...)

She is a nice looking figure but NOT 98$ nice. Just by watching the video you can see shes got very flimsy loose legs and can hardly stand on her own, She looks top heavy as well, it looks like she was slowly about to fall over each time the guy let her stand on her own so he grabs her quick each time and only lets her stand for a second or two. I can see the reason for the plastic stand now, she needs it in order to stand up. The transformation is gobot like being so simple a baby could do it as well. Her arms are just pushed up under her.. I would not pay 98$ for that. You can rant and rave about how much it costs to make her blah blah blah but in the end it she is not worth 98$ to me ... Maybe 45 to 50 but not 98. Big pass for me unless the price drops over time, shame too cause i really want a decent G1 Arcee for my collection

Looks incredibly fragile and the price and those anal beads are both laughable.
I'm happy with my animated arcee and a possible future classics arcee.
I do like this toy's alt mode though, looks way more refined than valkyrie's.

another easy pass as its Igear but points to them for finally putting out something semi original.

price is too high and the virtual requirement for the base is a turn off.

I prefer the scult on Valkyrie so far, but this one look of better quality (and pricier). So far I'm not enticed to order it at that price.

98 dollars for a toy that would be like 15 in stores...........seein as how I don't even have a Springer these days, I say hell no........

Like I said on cybertron.ca, if you're not sure about a $98 figure not being able to stand on its own, you should look at the $200-300 DX Aquarion by Bandai.

I think a stand is the way to go with a G1 Arcee figure. Having high heels doesn't really make for a very stable figure (just ask Barbie). This definitely looks better than Valkyrie but a few things are off about it: the visible screws (and big screws at that), the marshmallow arms, and the pushed-up-too-much-bra sculpt (they should really find a way to make that front panel collapse or fold down so her "breasts" are in a more aesthetically pleasing position).

ya ive seen i on another transformer site under fan art.... hell it might even be on this one as well...

and i have that thing...its heavy as all hell...but a cool fig non the less..but the over the top stand to get it to stay standing up is RE-DONK-Q-LUS..so i c no problem paying 100 for this....i just want it to b better than the valk one....than i shall order one...

Personally I think this looks great. Like, really great. Way better than the Valkyrie.

But it doesn't blow me away enough to make me want to drop a hundred bucks.
