Upgrading G1 combiners was cool, upgrade modern 3rd party toys is absurd (my favorite word today).

same head except with LED for $30? NO thanks. The cool factor of LED lights dies after turning it on once or twice...on any figure.

Sadly, it's not even anywhere near my favorite toy. There was just a period around last year's Botcon where everyone and their mom was dumping these things for Botcon money at cheap (150-200) and offering parts up as trade barter.

I love how people don't include shipping in their price complaints. The total for this identical head plus LED is $39 shipped. WTF? That is a huge portion of what I originally paid for the 3rd party pieces to begin with and the FP pieces came with a whole lot more than the head.

What is CrazyDevy thinking with these prices? If they kept them affordable like Dr Wu, say around $12-$15 shipped, I would absolutely get it. At $39 shipped, no way in hell.

I bought the Devastator parts from them, but couldn't fathom spending the money it took to do Predaking correctly even when BBTS was clearancing their stuff. I am hoping another KO company will do it for $50.

I was hoping this might have been slightly bigger as i've always thougt the original head was small. I cant see paying this for just the lights being added.

personally, i think this is perfect. Little brother dropped my Bruticus a couple months back, and one of the horns broke off. Now i hope they will release replacement hands

Yeah, the prices are pretty ridiculous, and just for the same head with light up LED eyes is a pretty ho-hum feature.

Now if CD made a bigger or upscaled head (I agree with a previous poster that the stock head always seemed too tiny to me), or a silver or chromed G1-ish chest wing shield to go over Onslaught's torso, then I might bite. I recall a Radicon(s) wanted to create a bigger head and chest shield set for FP Colossus but that project fizzled and never materialized at all.

As for the iGear City Commander set, I actually got this from RobotKingdom recently and it's a pretty decent set, but probably not worth the asking price. The energon hammers, giant black rifle, and Wreckers flag are very nice, as are the singular missiles that go on CC's shoulders. The head itself is pretty meh, and so is the energon sword. Otherwise, it's a fairly good add-on but a shame that the included head seems out of place aesthetics-wise and even smaller than the stock head (I went with the Dr. Wu blue-eyes face place instead, which looks better with the stock head).

At least its made of Polylac virgin ABS.

The knife Colossus has from Explorer's tail fin is too small. Maybe Crazy Devy can make one around 8 inches long.

Well, I can remove them. Already had in earlier versions. Actually, I swapped on a G1 onslaught head for it. (and a G1 Bruticus head awhile ago-back during Energons run)...

BUT. I can remove pins. Not everybody else can. So I'm in the minority there...
