TFC Toys Prometheus Unofficial Hotspot color images

TFC-Toys-Hotspot-1 TFC Toys has released color images of their next Prometheus (Protectobots) figure - it's Hotspot. This is the 3rd figure in the Prometheus line and we have not seen a picture of what the final combiner will look like. Gigapower HQ-03 (Masterpiece Styled "Snarl") - New Prototype Images

10446046_1448138945453299_4017290720354912559_o Third party/unofficial group Gigapower has just shared new test shot images of their upcoming HQ-03 release, their take on a masterpiece styled Snarl. From Gigapower's update on Facebook we know the new images show off one of their test shots currently being worked on, which stands head and shoulders above the height of MP-10! Mentioned in the update: the silver parts will be diecast, the chest piece will be translucent, and we can also expect more project updates coming again soon.

Ark Studio Age of Extinction Optimus Prime sword and transforming shield

10443505_836752466350084_4409396686665232048_n Ark Studio have announced their next third party Transformers project - an add-on for the Age of Extinction Leader Optimus Prime. The set is made up of a sword based on the on-screen look of the one wielded by Optimus Prime in Age of Extinction, and a shield which is designed to transform from the Movie Preview figure's version of the shield to the Generations one via some unfolding panels.

Some images of a prototype have been made available on the group's Weibo, check them out after the break.

Ark Studio VIP 04 (Legends Size "Lambor")

Ark Studio's previously announced figures include homages to Smokescreen (Spector), Prowl (Peacekeeper), and Bluestreak (Silverstorm) which you can discuss here.

Renderform Nightshade Final Edition Upgrade Kit and Leo Weapons

First up is a "Final Edition" version of their Nightshade add-on kit for Universe Darkwind. It's a reissued version of the popular RF-15 Nightshade kit that gives Darkwind a new head, with a more metallic tint compared to the original.

That is not all, though - Renderform have also updated their site with the Leo Justice Sword, Savior Shield, Magnum Hammer and Blackguard Slasher. These were available at Botcon but Renderform have now announced a wide selection of new colors for these weapons - there's a color to match almost any toy or shade of the rainbow!

ToyWorld's "Throttlebots" Combined Mode Revealed

1FvB7n After a little bit of a hiatus on this particular project, third party/independent group ToyWorld has just made a splash with their homages to the Generation 1 Throttlebot team revealing their versions of Goldbug, Freeway, Wideload, and the team's combined mode! It's been widely speculated and assumed that this team of figures would combine, although not entirely confirmed until now. The reveal came down today over at ToyWorld's webpage, which also confirmed the expected release date for the remaining figures (although no preorder information is available yet):

KFC Sencho Barbossa (Captain Shark) - New Colored Images

The new images show off what will likely be very close to a final deco and reveals striking details in both modes as well as a very well done, clean paint layout that is sure to please many. In-hand reviews of this figure will be highly anticipated!

10551715_519891971443644_1861083137137181117_o As TFcon concludes today, we take a quick moment to round up some of the other third party items that were revealed this week but not shown off at TFcon:

Mecha Form, who are making one of the third party Skyfires, have thrown their hat into the dino robot ring and announced their own plans to make unofficial Dinobots. Kicking off are Gunk, Sneer and Plunge, who are unlicensed takes on Sludge, Snarl and Swoop. They will also be making a version of the character Paddles, a Pleisiosaur Dinobot from the compilation book Transformers Legacy.

Beelzeboss will be releasing a Sword of Judgement keychain. Based on the sword Optimus Prime wields in Transformers: Age of Extinction, it can be taken off the keychain and used as a weapon for any Transformer with a 5mm handgrip.

X2 Toys were at TFcon, but have revealed some more on their version of the Impactor character, which they're calling Firing Pin, and an upgrade for Generations Orion Pax:

Fansproject Function X-6 Hardhead, X-7 Apeface and X-8 Highbrow

Shown here are X-6, X-7 and X-8. Which are respectively unofficial versions of Headmasters Hardhead, Apeface and Highbrow. We get our first look at these figures in robot mode, vehicle mode and beast mode (For Apeface). In the cases of Hardhead and Apeface, we get a good look at how the figures will transform. Intricate and clever Transformations is what the Function X line has become popular for and these figures look like they will not disappoint!

FansProject Exclusives Kar Krash and Columpio at TFcon

BsWHynuCcAEyb3f The sheer awesome madness of TFcon Toronto 2014 has begun! Early reports are coming in by the dozens from several TFW2005 members on Twitter. Most interesting to report at these early morning hours come from third party group FansProject who have two exclusvies for sale at the show: a Generation 2 homage to Breakdown named Kar Krash and a Diaclone inspired offering for LER-01 Columpio and Drepan (Dinobot "Sludge"). Photos come courtesy of crasis and Peaugh on Twitter.

We have very little information about these figures right now so keep checking back as we update you throughout the day!

Keith's Fantasy Club D.A.I. Commander Stack Unofficial Diaclone Colors Ultra Magnus

Eavi-Metal-MW-DAI-Stack-01_1398402646 Keith's Fantasy Club recently announced that they would be releasing a recolor of their unofficial, unlicensed Ultra Magnus. This recolor of Citizen Stack is being called "D.A.I. Commander Stack" and is based on the colors of Diaclone Powered Convoy - the pre-Transformers palette of Ultra Magnus which was featured in the 1986 animated movie preview for Ultra Magnus, and later got its own E-Hobby release.

Commander Stack has no release date announced as yet - his personality, though, is being put forward as a "Shattered Glass" version of the regular Citizen Stack.

Reprolabels July 2014 Update

upgradem50_1 The latest newsletter is in from Reprolabels, and this month is a movie extravaganza with upgrade sticker sets for the whole first wave of Age of Extinction Generations toys. There is a set for the Voyager Evasion Optimus Prime along with Crosshairs and High Octane Bumblebee. The Dinobots are not left out either, as there is a set for the Voyager Grimlock and a shared set for Scorn and Slug.

There are also sets for Generations Bumblebee and Goldfire, plus some stickers for the iGear Sharkticons, TFC Toys Gear of War Sixgun and Perfect Effect Warden.

Rounding things out is the Outline Compendium set, featuring many of the more obscure symbols of the Transformers series in the white outline style. In addition, Reprolabels are continuing a giveaway of Cybertron Glow symbols with every $30 spent.
