The-Wreckers Nelson; the administrator of MichaelBay.com, visited our boards and announced that the famous Transformers 3 NASCAR Trio are indeed The Wreckers.

We wish to thank, Mr. Nelson Lauren for this exclusive piece of news.

We do believe The Wreckers need no introduction. But, just in case...

The Wreckers are a sub-team of Autobots in the Transformers Universe, functioning essentially as a commando unit. They were created by Marvel UK writer, Simon Furman. The Wreckers are called upon whenever the odds of success are slim.

We end this article with the famous quote... "Wreck & Rule!!!"

Autobot-Brains There had been many speculations regarding the identity of the new Mercedes-Benz E550 Autobot in Transformers 3 by fans. Finally, Nelson of the Shoot For The Edit provided us with more info about who he is.

First of all Nelson said… Mercedes is not Jolt.

And to clear things-up furthermore, “IIRC, the blue Mercedes and the Einstein-looking bot are the same.

So it seems that the Einstein looking bot is the mysterious new Blue Mercedes-Benz E550 Autobot.

If this is not a misinformation then, so ends the rumors stating that the Mercedes bot is Shockwave/Soundwave in disguise. Still we are yet to findout the name of this bot with brains.

UPDATE : Nelson has posted the first Official Image of the Mercedes-Benz E550 vehicle from the Chicago set of Transformers 3. You can click on the Title Bar of this news article to see it.

Cool Custom Gold Chrome Generation 1 Fortress Maximus

Posted on 07-30-2010 at 12:34 AM by Sol Fury
Generation 1
5595afea47a8d4305eae991f81cec262 Get those salt-shakers ready folks, because we have a very interesting - and unusual - item for you today.

As you can see to the left of this image, that is a fully gold chromed version of the legendary Fortress Maximus - the largest Transformers toy ever released. He originally hit stores in 1987 as the centerpiece of the Headmasters line, and has since gone on to command high prices on the secondary market. The mold has been reused a couple of times down the years, including Brave Maximus in Car Robots - also known as Fortress Maximus in the series Robots in Disguise.

Which brings us to this strange piece. It is on display at Cybertron Con in China alongside many other items including the prototype for Masterpiece Rodimus Prime. While it is tempting to write this off as a bootlegger getting a bit over-enthusiastic with gold chrome, it is on display with the other official Transformers merchandise - which you can check out here on ACToys.

UPDATE - 2005 Boards member DrillBIT and several other members have pointed out this new image. For those that cannot read the caption, it explains that this is a fan made custom item and not an official piece. The fan who created this awesome piece brought it out for display at Cybertron Con for his fellow fans to enjoy.

So there you have it. It's a custom, not an official piece, and doesn't hint at a reissue or anything.

It's still extremely cool though, so enjoy the pics by clicking on the title of this story.
