This time, I started with a Nightwatch Leader prime. All flames were created from scratch using vinyl stencils and Illustrator. The paint this time was airbrushed on, to create a VERY durable thin finish, yet extremely shiney. I opted to paint in the windows this round, and add in a lot of detail using white, silver and copper. I think the color palette works well together. You will also see the photos there was an early version of the head... later in the project, I decided to repaint the head to better suit the Magnus style. All the silver accents and exterior shiney stuff was airbrushed with a product called Alclad. This expensive material provides the best chrome looking finish out there in my opinion.
