"Here is Titanium Ultra Magnus. He has a very simple transformation and, yet, he is my favorite Titanium figure. Both modes a dead on . . . well, as close as I've gotten from Hasbro for the past 25 years. I've been fed up of white Prime repaints for soooo long.
So back on topic: The factory figure looked dull and lifeless. I took it appart and painted it. I've always painted my stuff toon style, but lately, I try to give a more personal touch. I tried something different with this guy . . . I drybrushed silver paint over white paint. Not too much but only to get some minor metallic feel to it.
I used some new blue paint, some panel lines, and brought out the details with paint. And yeah, I kinda forgot to do the panel lines on the interior of his legs . . . oops.
The paint job is based on anime, but it's also my own interpretation of a G1 character. That explains the red paint on his lower legs and some other details you may notice."
