This is a mostly scratchbuilt "Masterpiece sized" non-transformable Megatron figure. It is fully poseable and was a commission for a TFans.com member who was willing to wait the months it would take me to finish this bit by bit. At first the spec was to create a manga style MP Prime sized figure that (if possible) could look similar to the Palisades Megatron Statue. As the project evolved, it became apparent that making it as close to the Palisades statue as possible was most important. So while the proportions are more exaggerated in a manga style, the detailing is as close to the Palisades statue as time/budget would allow. I'm personally pleased with the outcome and hope you all like it too. Non-scratchbuilt parts used were for the ball joints. Bionicle joints were used for anything that needed to be poseable. A few detail pieces came from automobile model kits too. The paint apps were done in a similar way that my other MP Megs was painted. Although I used an airbrush more on this one for the "battle damage".
