"Having grown with the G1 Transformers, I can't seem to find any interest in todays TF's unless they represent a new G1 improved caracter. Unless Hasbro releases the complete G1classics collection, I'll keep on kitbashing and remake my G1 characters. Sludge is probably one of my best improvments as of yet since I got good results without major compromise to either bot or dino mode. The robot head is now on a balljoint. The arms are articulated with balljoints and took Energon Sledge's crotch and upper legs fixed to the G1 legs. The dino mode was improved using Beast Wars Megatron but the improvments done to the arms were a compromise for the dino mode since they don't hide under Sludge anymore. I also had to make a modification inside his torso to be able to make him transform. It's basically the same kind of "system" that G1 Snarl has, but mine has a spring it it so the torso and crotch stay somehow connected together. I gave it a paint job, did some panel line, and brought out the details by painting them. Hope you like it! I plan on doing this to my other Dinobots, but I've been having a hard time figuring out what I can do to Snarl using the G1 toy."
