Just like my Constructicons, this is a custom I've been wanting to do before I even knew what kitbashing was.
I always thought Cog was a cool looking figure. However, I was always bothered by the fact that to transform him, you just took him apart and reassembled him. I changed several things to remedy that situation and add more detail. The added articulation and semi-collapsable thighs gave Grommet the ability to actually transform. Gasket's arms are no longer removable and his wheels all have rubber tires on them. I made the flaps on the side of his head fold back to give him a more traditional robot head. For weaponry, I changed the peg size on his hand gun, made his back so he could store a weapon there in robot mode, made honeycomb missile launchers for his hips, and added rotating guns to his shoulders and legs. I think any city or base defender should be well armed.
