After kitbashing Cog, I just had to kitbash Cerebros and Spike to help complete the set. There were few suprises when rebuilding him aside from his inability to properly fit in Fortress Maximus in city mode.
Parts I used to kitbash Cerebros came almost exclusively from Universe Sideburn. I changed his tech spec meter to something else because I never much cared for the gimmic. His sword was made from spare parts I had laying around. I colored him like the American cartoon version of Cerebros because he had a far more interesting color scheme than his Japanese counterpart.
Spike was augmented using Mini-con parts. The base for his face was a bootleg Devastator head, but every part of it was scuplted over.
The Autobot stickers on Cerebros, Gasket, and Grommet were all from reprolabels.com.
