As I mentioned in the Classics Dirge's Description, this custom was not made for me, but is a commission by Tamo536. I felt that the customs I'd seen of this particular character/line could be improved to be better than simply slapping on some G1 Thrust wings and painting it. I didn't like how he looked with his wings sitting up so high, and plus that height made the wings look grossly too large for the body of the jet and robot. What I did was I took the connector piece that the main wings attach to and I trimmed off the one corner that isn't rounded off, thus allowing me to swivel them the opposite direction when flipping them back behind the body, allowing them to sit lower on the torso. Doing this makes the bottom of the wings show forward in robot mode, so I couldn't simply use Thrust wings. I had Tamo send me a second set (junker) of Thrust wings and I stole the engine shrouds off them. I ground these all the way down so they would not make his wings too thick for his jet mode, and then glued them onto the bottom surface of the wings so that he'd have the correct detail and colorings in his robot form.
For paint, I used the new Mythical Maroon from the Testor's One-Coat line, silver, gloss red, and I dyed the forearms, feet, and nullrays. The torso I didn't have to dye as its from a Skywarp.
