This is a pretty obvious re-paint,so obvious i cant believe Hasbro haven't done it themselves.
Actually this was a bit of a nightmare project,took way longer than i expected & i managed to scratch my cornea at work,so i couldn't paint for a week.
First of all i tried making Scorponok a headmaster but the head was just too small and i ended up scraping that idea.
So i went for a few Weapons upgrades instead.
First of all i took the rather puny looking cannons & extended the barrels using aluminum & plastic tubing.I then attached them with rare earth magnets.
Scorponok was painted with Games workshop paints,mainly Dark angels green,Dwarf Bronze,Burnished gold & a custom mixed purple.
Alt mode pics as soon as the varnish cures.

Next i made Scorponoks shield out of a piece of Zoid i had lying around & added a couple of scythes of a 40k dark eldar vehicle,again this is attached with rare earth magnets.

Finally i made his gun,this was made out of Armarda Smokescreens crane gun with a load of aircraft kit & 40k bitz.
