At an early age, Cloud Saber was for told to be a Vessel of Primus, an Autobot who could channel the power of Primus in his Alt and Weapon forms. Other soldiers would feel this responsibility is too much of a burden, but Cloud Saber considers it an honor. He has spent most of his life mastering hand to hand combat and swordplay. Any foe within a 10 foot range of his sword finds themselves de-armed or worse, beheaded. His vicious nature on the battlefield is almost the opposite from his friendly demanor. He leaps in and out of battle, surgically dispatching Decepticons with an unrelenting focus. Unless he targets from long range that is , giving Megatron's forces a swift and painless defeat with his Negative Ion Cannon.
Optimus has never seen such a fighter in his lifetime. That may not be such a bad thing.
