"I just got the urge to take a Classics Starscream and weather him. I wanted to make him a bit darker and more heavily weathered than some of the others I've seen.
I removed all of the alt mode red paint with alcohol and Q-tips. Then I got black paint and water and just streaked it on. I quickly rubbed off most of the top layer, leaving the weathering present. Then I masked off the tail fin stripes, painted the blue, painted the red, and finally added the small white stripe using a flat gray."
