Airblade spends most of his time wishing he never came online. Being a Transmetal II transformers means he has a lot of power, but having the beast mode of a ladybug gets him no repect from his fellow Predacons. Even Waspinator cracks jokes at him on a constant basis. He never gets a break and no other Pred will work with him. Humiliation is his only friend. Megatron knows that AirBlade is powerfull, but allows him to be treated more poorly that the others because he takes the anger out on the Maximals. His shell and plated head keep him almost invinsible in beast mode and his twin blades can slice through most alloys. After fighting alongside the predacons lead by Megatron, Airblade had all the humiliation he could stand, he came across a familiar signal pattern, followed and soon joined the ranks of Magmatrons troops. Magmatron has used him as a spy on the Maximals who had not previously encountered Airblade. With such a pleasant beast mode many of the Maximals dont think twice about sharing info with him and giving him their confidence.
