I used a Beast Machines, Skydive, and removed the neck gimmick and added a ball joint. The only other thing I added was the head feathers/crown to mimic G1 Swoop. I could have just added the crown but that was too easy. I attached it to the clear orange, inner, eye plastic and added a gun barrel so it can become his weapon, in both modes. It can fire from the mouth when in beast mode and then becomes a hand held weapon. It stores in side the Pterodactyl head when not used, in bot mode. (he still has his swords, too).
The longer legs are the main difference from G1 Swoop. Otherwise, my update can hold all the same poses as G1 swoop, plus the wings can fold back along the body, in Beast mode, which the G1 swoop, cannot do. (I may paint the legs at a later time).
