Killjoy was once a proud member of the A.D.C.U. and went by the name 'Gunpowder'. He served as the teams main line of defense while the others got the humans to safety. One day Skyjax was fighting with Blitzwing and accidentally hit Gunpowder with a stray shot. Gunpowder immediately returned fire in the confusion and hit Grime, almost extinguishing his spark. Gunpowder retreated and was intercepted by Pandora who convinced him to join the Decepticons and that Skyjax intentionally shot at him.
He now believes that Skyjax sees him as a threat to his leadership and fills complete hatred for all of the A.D.C.U., except for Guppy who was once his friend. After changing his name to Killjoy, he decided the best plan of attack was to hurt what Skyjax cared for most, Humans!"
