I remember when the Alternator/Binaltech Prowl debuted, and while I liked the design I wasn't thrilled with him being "Prowl." My first idea was to remake the character by repainting an Alternator Meister(Jazz) RX-8, simply because the white car made for a nice canvas. At the time I couldn't find an extra one at any store. That's what prompted me to make him out of Wheeljack. The body type really seemed to fit the bill, and I hadn't ever seen a Prowl made from one.

I'm quite pleased with how he came out. His paints are Krylon Fusion, black and red where needed. The light bar was one of those hobby shop add-on deals, and the stickers came from Reprolabels.com. I scratch built the ramming bar on the front out of some Star Wars Clone trooper backpack antennae. And, of course, the head is from the normal Alt. Prowl.
