From grimmlock: Animated Ultra Magnus After getting the toy itself, I really wanted to model this character in 3-d. However, I was engaged in working on the more realistic looking alternators characters. Within a weeks time I started and completed the Autobot commander. I was very pleased with the animated look. What set this apart from previous models I’ve done, both Classics and Alternators, is the face was created by using surface meshes which allowed a smother look and it allowed my to have different facial expression where I was not able to in the past. I was so impressed I could not wait to start the next character.
