TRANSFORMERS 2006 Comic-Con Announcements - The Transformers

Transformers.com has updated with the following announcement:

"Attention TRANSFORMERS fans of all ages! Prepare to travel back in time to the era when ‘ROBOTS IN DISGUISE’ ruled the universe as HASBRO showcases the TRANSFORMERS CLASSICS line at Comic Con!

This fall, Hasbro will pay a special tribute to the rich history captured in the TRANSFORMERS saga with the TRANSFORMERS Classics line of figures that feature updated versions of G1 favorites. The figures have a more detailed face and body, resulting in a more comparable appearance to the character seen on the original TV show and animated movie

Be sure to stop by the booth to check out our 20th Anniversary DVD Edition of OPTIMUS PRIME. This 14" collectible figure will come with an electronic AUTOBOT display stand featuring classic sounds and movie phrases.

The Hasbro TRANSFORMERS design and marketing teams take the stage to discuss their plans surrounding their TRANSFORMERS Cybertron, and TRANSFORMERS Classics lines and answer your questions. Also, Sony BMG will be joining Hasbro to talk about their 20th Anniversary Special Edition DVD of TRANSFORMERS: The Movie!

Comic Con kicks off a fantastic year for TRANSFORMERS, that will includes BotCon 2006, the SONY BMG release of TRANSFORMERS: The Movie 20th Anniversary Special Edition DVD, and, of course, an awesome product line. Plus, it all leads up to next summer’s live action release from Paramount, TRANFORMERS. Paramount is creating an outstanding film that will bring the TRANSFORMERS property to life in a way that is simply beyond imagination!"
