AUTOBOT BLADES carries powerful wire-guided missiles and a photon laser that can bore a hole through DECEPTICON® armor at 200 yards, but he rarely uses either. He considers ranged combat to be unfair, which is funny because up close he’s just about the dirtiest fighter there is. He’ll use his rotors to kick dust and debris into his opponent’s optics, then kick the poor guy right in the exhaust port, and keep on kicking him when he falls down. It’s not that AUTOBOT BLADES likes to fight; it’s just that he really, really likes to win.

CHEETOR has always been fast. Other robots move at speeds that seem agonizingly slow to him, as if they were trapped in tar. Unfortunately, a lot of the time he moves a lot faster than he thinks, and finds himself in situations that, in retrospect, could have been avoided. Still, his speed has gotten him out of a lot more jams than it's gotten him into, and when speed isn't enough he can always break out his blades.

Though search and rescue is his primary function – and one he happens to be very good at – INFERNO loves nothing more than a good fight. In fact, he will often abandon his duties or even ignore direct orders, just to go antagonize DECEPTICONS. He especially loves to get up close to his enemies, where the energy-damping field he generates to help suppress fires can eliminate the effectiveness of their weapons. He uses the chemical foam sprayed from his arm cannon to blind opponents as often as he uses it to put out fires.

IRONHIDE was built at a time when armor was thick, and circuitry was simple. He is the oldest of the AUTOBOTS, tested in thousands of battles, over countless centuries. He has been injured many times, but never deactivated. For every scratch and scar that he bears he has a tale to tell, and most of the younger AUTOBOTS are all too eager to hear them. Gruff, and sometimes grumpy, he is also naturally protective of the other AUTOBOTS. He is tough, rough, and nearly impossible to damage.

As the leader of an elite group of Autobot warriors known as the Aerialbots, Silverbolt shoulders a great deal of responsibility. He is a careful planner who never risks the lives of his men, unless it is absolutely necessary. All his care, however, hides a deeply insecure nature. Optimus Prime actually put Silverbolt in such a stressful position largely to district him from a paralyzing fear of heights; a weakness he hopes the other Aerialbots never discover. He is a capable leader nonetheless, and has honed his Aerialbots into one of the finest Autobot units in the universe.

There's not a lot to be said about Silverstreak that he hasn't already said himself. In fact, there's not a lot to be said about anything that he hasn't already said, because he never stops talking. Ever. He talks to his partners on guard duty, he talks during his charge cycles, when he's alone, he talks to himself. In battle, he chats with his opponents. Despite his formidable weaponry, Decepticons prefer not to fight him mostly because they get sick of talking to him.

More than one Autobot sneak attack owes its success to the skill of Smokescreen. He enjoys playing games with the enemy, taking a huge amount of pleasure in the frustration they display.

Crashed to the ground and tangled in a mess of thick, steel cables, Springer struggles to reach his weapon before the Decepticons find him. Unfortunately for him, though, Ratbat saw just where he crashed. Suddenly, the ground shakes violently, freeing Springer and knocking Ratbat to the ground. When they both regain their feet, the odds are suddenly even. The two robots have a tense standoff, even as a larger battle rages around them.
