CHEETOR has always been fast. Other robots move at speeds that seem agonizingly slow to him, as if they were trapped in tar. Unfortunately, a lot of the time he moves a lot faster than he thinks, and finds himself in situations that, in retrospect, could have been avoided. Still, his speed has gotten him out of a lot more jams than it's gotten him into, and when speed isn't enough he can always break out his blades.

The only thing Decepticon Drag Strip hates more than the Autobots is coming in second. He hates losing so much, he'll do anything to avoid it. Cheating is always his first resort, followed quickly by outright violence against his competition. The other Decepticons wouldn't be at all sad to see him scrapped, since he's almost as much of a pain for them to deal with as he is for the enemy.

DECEPTICON DROPSHOT is always fighting, even when no one else is. He takes every opportunity to pick a fight, and is always the first guy to throw a punch (or fire a missile). If the robot he’s fighting with doesn’t fight back, well, that’s fine with DECEPTICON DROPSHOT. The way he looks at it, anyone who doesn’t fight is a coward and deserves a beating. He’s not really interested in having a reason to fight, and he doesn’t care whether his side wins or loses, as long as he gets to pound on someone. Other DECEPTICONS® avoid him, unless there are AUTOBOTS® around for him to pick on.

Back on CYBERTRON, before the war, DECEPTICON HEAVY LOAD was a brilliant chemist and engineer, specializing in optimizing fuel mixtures to increase the energy efficiency of all mechanoid life. Repeated exposure to toxic chemicals over hundreds of years slowly degraded his cognitive systems, turning him into someone none of his friends recognized. As his brain module rotted, he grew more withdrawn, and began to focus more on his failed experiments – the ones that had poisoned his test subjects. Now, he develops poisons and corrosive bombs for whichever DECEPTICON gangs can pay his fees, and continues his experiments on helpless AUTOBOT captives.
