ANTI-BLAZE, a junior member of the MINI-CON Council of Sages, was among those who argued most passionately against asking OPTIMUS PRIME and his AUTOBOTS for help. He felt that involvement with the larger TRANSFORMERS had brought only grief to the MINI-CON race, though he now regrets his position. He has been forced to make the unpleasant transition from a relatively unknown political figure to a military leader at the front lines as he fights against THRUST and the other evil MINI-CON rebels.
ANTI-BLAZE is sold in a two pack with THRUST.

A soldier to the core, ARMORHIDE is often frustrated by missions that don't go perfectly. He often finds himself aggravated during the search for the Planet Key on Earth. Still, he finds a kind of joy in the frequent battles with the DECEPTICON forces that seem to block him and the other AUTOBOTS at every turn. Tough, dedicated and fearless, ARMORHIDE neither asks nor gives any mercy in the ongoing battle with the evil DECEPTICONS.

Unlike Monocle, and Landslide, Ascentor maintained contact with the Mini-Con robots that returned to Cybertron after the Armada Battles. Over the years, he has developed a philosophical give-and-take with the Mini-Con Council of Sages. This ongoing discussion occupies much of his core processor time, causing him to be distracted, and vulnerable to the traps set by Payload. However, his years of deep thought have also caused his sensory and motor-control systems to rewrite themselves, giving him what appears to be nearly be a sixth sense when it comes to avoiding pitfalls and sneak attacks.
ASCENTOR is sold in a two pack with PAYLOAD

Backblast is a simple robot, nearly incapable of independent thought. When Backblast is told to attack, he attacks, and does not stop attacking until the order is given. It is only when he is joined with the other two members of the Deep Space Mini-Con Team as the powerful Umbral Blaster that he feels his full potential. As a robot, he is only a barely sentient battering ram, but as a part of the Umbral Blaster the energy stored within his armored body is released in an unstoppable storm of destruction.
BACKBLAST is sold in a two pack with SURESHOCK.

Once the most feared and powerful warrior on the Jungle Planet, Backstop was long ago beaten and cast out by Scourge. Forced to live among weaker beasts, he came to value the equality of all creatures above all else, and now fights against Scourge with the other Jungle Planet rebels. He hates the cruel dictator and dreams often of the day on which he will finally throw down and destroy the evil, three-headed dragon-bot.

The talent of the members of the Street Speed Mini-Con Team for working in tandem while racing at top speed across a battlefield or crowded city freeway has made them invaluable as spies and scouts for the Autobots. All three are in love with racing, and they sometimes disappear for weeks to compete in the Speed Planet rally circuit.
BACKTRACK is sold as part of the STREET SPEED MINI-CON TEAM.

In between the moons of Cybertron trails a 3,000 mile-long field of debris left there by the many battles that have been fought in orbit around the machine planet. It is in the dangerous, remote center of this desolate asteroid field that Blastcharge, under the direction of Sunstorm, has constructed a decoy base of operations. The leader of the Deep Space Mini-Con Team had hoped to lure in and destroy fighters for the Mini-Con Council of Sages. He never imagined that the Council would send the one and only Street Action Team to their doom!
BLASTCHARGE is sold in a two pack with HIGH WIRE.

A former race champion, Blurr retired years ago and has since made a career coaching younger speedesters in the subtleties of racing. He is a tough teacher, with a gruff personality that often comes across as bad-tempered to those who don't know him. Long-time students of his know, however, that his demanding temperament hides a gentle Spark. He is tough on those who come to him for training because the takes their successes and failures personally, and he requires no less of his students - and himself - than their best.

An old racer on his last lap, BRAKEDOWN was the fastest around in his day. He knows every inch of track on the Speed Planet, and while his systems can't keep up with the supercharged speed of younger robots this old speed demon's still got one or two tricks up his sleeve. With his pipes rusting through and his suspension grown brittle with age, he's got to rely on CLOCKER, to whom he's passed his knowledge of the Great Race.

It's long been an accepted piece of wisdom on VELOCITRON that you can't teach an old racer new tricks, but that was before the AUTOBOTS came to the Speed Planet. With the help of Coby and the intelligent application of some Earth technology, including dual superchargers, inter-cooled Energon exhaust ports and a diamond-sharp edge to his racing saber, BRAKEDOWN is feeling a thousand years younger. Yes sir, this old speed demon is back on the track!!

BRIMSTONE likes the simple things -- food, flying, trashing AUTOBOTS. He leaves stuff like thinking, planning and noticing what's going on in the world around him to his pal UNDERMINE, which is just as well because that tiny, little head of his contains a badly undersized CPU. Still, being dumb doesn't make BRIMSTONE any less dangerous. In flight, he is totally silent, and his diamond-edged vanadium wing blades can pierce even the toughest armor.

One of many scientists working for Megatron, Brushguard has dedicated his life to xenobotany - the study of alien plant life. A firm believer in Decepticon supremacy, he hopes to find unique toxins in Earth plants for use against the Autobots and their human allies. Though he dislikes violence, he has been retrofitted to fire short-range bursts of superheated acid from his chest.

Despite the evacuation of Cybertron, and the incredible danger presented by the black hole, many of the bravest, craziest or most foolish stayed behind. Buzzsaw is one of the crazies, a dangerous rogue from the Decepticon old guard who intends to hoard as much of the planet's Energon as he can for himself, hoping to gain enough power to destroy the Autobots upon their return! For now, he is content to lurk in the abandoned cities of Cybertron, practicing his marksmanship by blowing the tops off the old Energon Towers.

A reckless pirate concerned only with where his next bit of stolen treasure is coming from. Cannonball and his crew of oil-thirsty pirates have terrorized merchant starships for centuries, returning to Cybertron only rarely to refuel and spend their ill-gotten loot on black-market Energon stars and pleasure programs. He claims loyalty to the Decepticon cause only because Megatron allows him to operate freely as long as he continues to attack only Autobot ships.

Checkpoint worked as an information specialist and spy for Anti-Blaze even before Thrust began his rebellion. His speed and talent for disguise, as well as a cluster of holographic projectors housed on either side of his head make him ideal for infiltrating enemy formations. But his real talent is in his ability to get a read on a subject with minimal contact; Checkpoint can make incredibly accurate guesses about an individual's personality and motives after only a few moments of conversation. This talent makes him a dangerous enemy, and a valuable resource to Anti-Blaze and the Council of Sages.
CHECKPOINT is sold in a two pack with SUNSTORM.

A young speedster with nerves of steel and technique to spare. Quick-thinking, clever and courageous, his size prevents him from presenting a real challenge on the track. He races out of a sense of duty to his mentor Brakedown, and he knows every bit of road on the Speed Planet like the back of his hand. It's his knowledge of the Great Race that gives Hot Shot the edge he needs.

Crosswise is an ancient bounty hunter tricked centuries ago into following a target to Earth, where he was captured and sealed into the side of a glacier in the Alaskan wilderness. Gruff, sarcastic, and always spoiling for a fight, he isn't above resorting to dirty tricks to take down an enemy. Though he rarely works without getting paid, he also has a strong sense of right and wrong, and when he hears about the danger to Cybertron, he is only too glad to sign on with Optimus Prime and the Autobots.

Trusting but dumb, Crumplezone is often drawn into serving as the muscle to back up the paranoid plotting of his partner Ransack. Huge, powerful and superfast, Crumplezone is sometimes surprised by sudden turns. Not that it matters - he's the biggest guy on the Speed Planet, and crashing straight ahead through whatever gets in his way is his specialty. Twin-turbine ramjets can propel him at nearly the speed of sound, and selective thrust reversal allows him to fire hypersonic, high-explosive slugs nearly 12 miles.

Long exposure to the freezing waste of deep space has irreversibly mutated Scourge. No longer a flame-spewing monster consumed by his passions, he is now a creature of ice and cold. Calculating, cruel, and without mercy, he radiates a freezing aura that causes circuitry to short out, and renders Autobot alloys brittle and easily shattered. His breath, once a raging firestorm, is now a creeping cold that sneaks into joints and mechanisms, destroying from within. The blade of his axe is a razor-sharp shard of supercooled hydrogen ice that leaves a deadly numbness wherever it strikes.

Mighty creator of the Transformers race, both Autobots and Decepticons owe him their loyalty as his children. He is as old as the Universe itself, and matched in power only by his twin brother, the evil Unicron. Primus is the Lord of Light - a pure, natural force of order, strength and peace, committed eternally to the struggle against chaos, destruction and the ever-advancing darkness of Unicron.

With dark power coursing through his circuitry, his might in battle is nearly unmatched, but Dark Crumplezone is just as dumb as ever. Being dead gave him a mean streak a mile wide, and getting put back together by the otherworldly power of Galvatron gave him the weaponry he needed. What he can't smash through, he knocks down, and what he can't knock down, he pulverizes with his forward plasma ejector cannons. He's too dumb to be a real threat to the Autobots, but Galvatron is content to just set him loose on the battlefield and see what he can blast before the Autobots shut him down.

Awesomely powerful and incredibly intelligent, Dark Scorponok was once widely feared by Decepticons and Autobots alike, until his chassis was destroyed by Megatron. His mind and memory shattered, only partially operational and powered by the might of Unicron - some of which he managed to absorb - he hungers for a return to full functionality. Even in his partially destroyed state, his mech-venom sting and super-strong claws are a threat to all but the most powerful beings, and his return heralds a new era of fear for all who stand in his way.

One of the only Mini-Con teams operating on the Giant Planet without the partnership of a larger robot, these three have made a long habit of bitterness. Uninterested in construction projects - or simply without the patience to work on a building crew in the case of Longarm - the Giant Planet Mini-Con Team roam abandoned sections of the world-city engaging their destructive impulses, and occasionally raiding work sites to steal supplies.
DEEPDIVE is sold as a part of the GIANT PLANET MINI-CON TEAM.

DEMOLISHOR thinks just about as fast as he drives. He has heard rumors about the return of GALVATRON. Quite frankly, he hoped they weren’t true. After working for the DECEPTICON leader for years, he’s been fine without someone bigger and badder than he is to kick him around. Still, given how thick CYBERTRON has been getting with SCRAPMETAL vermin, it’s be nice to have a few more DECEPTICONS around to back him up.

A few years of experience in the Energon Wars have gone a long way in Downshift. Once an impulsive speedster, he has learned patience and consideration from his mentor Hot Shot. Where he once would have raced straight into battle against even overwhelming odds, relying on his speed to get him out of tight spots, he has now learned to observe and enter a fight cautiously. His keen eye and quick reflexes allow him to exploit even the smallest opportunity to bring down Decepticons much bigger and stronger than him.

An outsider among the AUTOBOTS because of his brooding attitude, EXCELLION is one of the very few AUTOBOT warriors who the DECEPTICONS think of with any respect, but that respect is earned. EXCELLION has made an art of speed and stealth, moving back and forth across enemy lines as if he were invisible. More than once, he has retrieved vital information from within a DECEPTICON stronghold, or quickly and quietly disposed of a particularly annoying enemy agent.

Like High Wire, Grindor has fond memories of the peace they found on Earth after the end of the Energon Battles. He had fully supported the formation of an independent Mini-Con state on the moons of Cybertron, and was a local booster of the Mini-Con Council of Sages. He believes that all Mini-Cons can and should live in peace, and he still harbors hopes that the conflict with the rebels can be resolved without too much fighting.

Hardtop has been left on Earth to serve as a spy, tracker and ground-based spotter for the aerial team of Starscream and Thundercracker. He uses his impressive array of sensors not only to pinpoint Autobot targets up to 7000 miles away, but also to listen to and record the treasonous whining of Starscream. Though he generally prefers to hang back from the front lines of a fight, he finds a certain pleasure in taking pot shots at Autobot with his super-precise, long-range laser rifle.

Freedom. That's why Hightail came to Earth. Sure he's an Autobot, but that doesn't mean he has to follow Optimus Prime around like a puppy. Cybertron was just too small for him is all, and the wide-open spaces and long-straight stretches of pure blacktop on Earth are the perfect antidote. Hightail is happy to mind his own business, cruising the back roads and byways of America, looking for the next filling station where he can recharge and kick back with a cold can of oil. And if he meets any Decepticons along the way, well, he'll send'em crying back to Galvatron.
