Cheetor (Beast Machines)

HAS12970 Like every young AUTOBOT and MAXIMAL speedster before and since, CHEETOR was once a study in naiveté. Years of bitter experience in the BEAST WARS have left him hardened, without the bright-eyed curiosity that caused him and the other MAXIMAL warriors so many problems. Seeing CYBERTRON under the thumb of MEGATRON and its population enslaved has left him grim, nearly crushing the former good humor out of his spirit. He has turned every bit the predator, and focused all of his energies on the liberation of his fellow robots.

The conversion of OPTIMUS PRIMAL into some kind of strange religious fanatic by the Oracle has done nothing to help. CHEETOR believes in his friend and leader, but the word of a mythical computer is not enough for him to go on a crusade. For CHEETOR, the liberation of the sparks of the citizens of CYBERTRON is all that really matters. While OPTIMUS PRIMAL is distracted by prophecies and spirit-quests, CHEETOR is forced to step into the unlooked for role of leader in the hope of bringing about the salvation of his kind.

UNIQUE FEATURE: Focused particle acceleration bursts generated by high speeds.

Grimlock (War Within)

grimlock_robot Grimlock fights not because he believes in the Autobots ideal of peace and freedom, but because he knows what Megatron really is. He was there at the beginning of the Decepticon movement, mudguard deep in the spilled oil on the arena floor. He knows what it is to feel the electron-surge of total victory over his foes. His coolant too has sung as he pressed his blade against the torso of a helpless opponent.

But to Grimlock, no weakness is worthy of respect, least of all that weakness that disguises itself as strength. Where is the satisfaction of crushing those who cannot defend themselves, or slaughtering a building full of unarmed innocents? How does madness like that prove one’s strength? Better to die fighting against an enemy so powerful that defeat is almost certain. Better still to turn that enemy back and drive him broken before you. To someday see Megatron so broken – that is why Grimlock fights.

Hot Zone

TOY-RBT-0761_05 Filled with what seems like boundless energy, HOT ZONE never stops moving. It is never a restless motion, but the movement of an individual constantly ready to spring into action. More than any other AUTOBOT®, he is ready for battle at a moment’s notice, diving in and fighting with a warrior’s instinct that is second to none. Other AUTOBOTS® take inspiration from his energy, following him cheerfully into the very heart of danger, and, thanks to his skills, always emerging unscathed.

Jetfire (War Within)

titanium0015 Before the Great War between the AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS broke out, JETFIRE was a partner and friend to STARSCREAM. The two were as close as brother; the one as calm, rational and slow to anger as the other was jealous, erratic and arrogant. When STARSCREAM joined the DECEPTICONS in attacking the AUTOBOT held cities of CYBERTRON, JETFIRE was slow to choose sides. He was hesitant to join in the slaughter of largely defenseless AUTOBOTS, but did not want to take up arms against someone he'd considered a friend.

When the full extent of the treachery of the DECEPTICONS became clear however, JETFIRE joined the AUTOBOTS without reservation. The anger he felt as his betrayal by STARSCREAM never waned. He fought his former friend at every turn. The sky over many a battlefield filled with fire as the two master fliers engaged in dog fight after dog fight, neither ever completely destroying the other.

UNIQUE FEATURE: JETFIRE was frozen in stasis lock in Earth's Arctic Circle.

Megatron (GI Joe Vs Transformers)

titanium0010 MEGATRON does not suffer fools gladly. Yet here he is, forced by the power of the Matrix to obey the commands of a simpering braggart in a hood, and a fleshling no less! Still, MEGATRON is nothing if not patient. Let that shrill simpleton COBRA COMMANDER collect his trinkets and treasures. MEGATRON will watch, and wait for his time to strike.

Megatron (War Within)

HAS13166 For years he waited. For years he planned. For years he sat in the shadows of the arena in Kaon watching as TRANSFORMERS fought and died. As the taste for destruction grew within those who fought, he sowed seeds of his own rise to power, and the subjugation of CYBERTRON. Those who proved themselves worthy through a talent for viciousness or simple, raw power, he recruited. No more would they call themselves TRANSFORMERS. Now they are DECEPTICONS.

When the time came, his DECEPTICONS rose up all over the planet. In that first lightning strike, thousands ceased functioning. So far, all of his planning has gone perfectly. Before his assaults, the AUTOBOTS are helpless, capable of fighting only long enough to barely manage a retreat to the next fallback position. All the while, his plan progresses. The AUTOBOTS will be destroyed utterly, MEGATRON thinks, the universe subjugated beneath my immortal heel, and the history of my conquest read by the flickering flames of a thousand burning civilizations.

UNIQUE FEATURE: No known weaknesses.

Menasor

HAS13808 Experimental mechanics may have successfully unifed the gestalt frame of MENASOR into a while physical creature, but no level of shell programming or kernel restructuring has been able to modify his fractured mind. Constructed from the bodies of the five DECEPTICON warriors who once combined to form him, he is nearly indestructible. He is the ultimate in state-of-the-art destructive capabilities, driven by an almost mindless rage at the psychic agony that constantly torments him.

The dominant personality within him is that of the former leader of the Stunticons, Motormaster. Hated by his teammates, he nevertheless exercised an iron-fisted control over the team - a control that slipped only once the five found themselves unified in MENASOR. Even now, hardwired into the command network of the new body, he withstands a constant mental assault from the suppressed personalities of his four underlings. As a result, MENASOR, who should be the ultimate weapon, is little more than a destructive monster, incapable of following a plan, and desirous of nothing more than to smash everything around him.

UNIQUE FEATURE: Cyclone Gun generates winds equal to an F5 tornado.

Optimal Optimus

titanium0036 Forced by circumstances into a desperate gambit, OPTIMUS PRIMAL takes the Spark of the greatest of his AUTOBOT ancestors into his body. While the MAXIMAL crew works feverishly to repair the destroyed circuitry of OPTIMUS PRIME and end the timestorm that threats to tear their universe apart, their leader struggles to stay alive. His body is wracked by the strain of containing two Sparks - something his bio-mechanical battle frame was never built for.

By the time the Spark of the AUTOBOT leader is returned to its rightful place, OPTIMUS PRIMAL has been mutated by its power into OPTIMAL OPTIMUS, a MAXIMAL of incredible size and astounding might. Armored and equipped like an AUTOBOT warrior from the Golden Age of CYBERTRON, he casts a formidable shadow, and presents the greatest threat MEGATRON and his PREDACONS have ever faced.

UNIQUE FEATURE: Mutated by the Spark infusion of OPTIMUS PRIME

Optimus Prime

TOY-RBT-0761_01 From the fires of a war that laid waste to their planet, to the final battle on their adopted home world, OPTIMUS PRIME has led the AUTOBOTS®. For millions of years, he has stood like an unmovable pillar, even as chaos consumed all around him. He is more than a mere leader to his fellow AUTOBOTS—he is a symbol of all they stand for. He is justice, peace, and compassion personified. While he lives, the AUTOBOTS will never fail, never falter, and never give up.

Optimus Prime (Robots In Disguise)

titanium0052 Chosen by the Matrix to lead the AUTOBOTS on their mission to Earth, OPTIMUS PRIME is the very embodiment of all that every AUTOBOT strives to be. He is the soul of honor and compassion, dedicated to the preservation of life and freedom for all creatures. His affection for those he protects is matched only by his ferocity in battle. he has faced them many times, and knows that there can be no surrender and no compromise with the treacherous PREDACONS.

In addition to being an idea leader, he is a war machine of incredible power. Nearly unbeatable in single combat, his enemies have resorted to an endless string of dirty tricks to lay him low, only to see him rebound every time, stronger than ever before. His strength and confidence, however, hide a deeply reflective spirit. During solitary moments, he has been known to doubt his skill as a leader, for his deep compassion has - at times - clouded his judgement. Thankfully, his brilliant mind and the dedication of his compatriots have always managed to snatch victory from the evil claws of the PREDICONS.

UNIQUE FEATURE: Combines with his brother ULTRA MAGNUS to form OMEGA PRIME.

Optimus Prime (War Within)

titanium0009 Gravitas and the members of the Chamber of the Ancients have spoken. It has been determined that the fate of the Autobots will rest upon the shoulders of an archivist name Optronix. Although, Optronix is initially reluctant to accept this great responsibility, he begins to understand the devastating risks at stake for the entire Transformers race.

Optronix is given the leadership name of Optimus Prime once the power of The Matrix is bestowed onto him. It is a sign that he must lead the Autobots away from Cybertron, not only to escape the war with the Decepticons, but also to escape the self-destructive war that exists within them. After a colossal battle with Megatron that spans the boundaries of both time and space, Optimus discovers the power within himself to step up and provide the leadership his race needs in their most desperate hour.

Botcon-2007-DR-Friday-0007 Primal Prime was originally shown at Botcon 2007 in the upcoming products display, but due to lack of retailer support was canceled along with the rest of the Titanium series.

He has more recently been seen on the rear of the packaging for the Toys R Us Exclusive Titanium wave as a cross-sell so it is possible that he may yet see a release.

Prowl (War Within)

prowl1 The most single-minded of all the Autobots, Prowl is sometimes referred to as “the commander’s Sharkticon” because of the way he seizes a problem and refuses to let it go until it is solved. He rivals even Shockwave in the fields of cryptology, logistics and strategic planning. In fact, the two of them will occasionally engage in complex shadow wars that rage beneath the surface of an ongoing battle, logical games designed more to frustrate and confound each other than secure victory for their sides.

Prowl believes that there is a reason for all things. He struggles to understand the perspective even of his enemies, believing that if he can discern the logical underpinnings of the Decepticon cause, he can devise a strategy for final victory. Though he is often torn by emotions in conflict with his logic, he has difficulty understanding how others can be so ruled by feeling and instinct. He believes that all creatures behave according to some complex arithmetic, and that if he could only work it out, he could bring peace to the universe.

Rodimus Prime (Generation 1)

titanium0042 AUTOBOT prophecy spoke of a Chosen One who would claim the Matrix and rise to defend CYBERTRON in its darkest hour. No one ever suspected it would be Hot Rod. While no one doubted his courage, his recklessness occasionally put other AUTOBOTS in danger. Few AUTOBOTS were as fast, however, or as smart, and even fewer could have been expected to survive the twisting, diabolical pathways within the body of UNICRON, or a confrontation with the mighty GALVATRON.

Survive he did, however, and became RODIMUS PRIME. Yet even after the destruction of UNICRON and the defeat of GALVATRON he was plagued by self-doubt. The power of the Matrix was his to command, and the wisdom of past AUTOBOT leaders lived within him, but he lived always within the shadow of his mentor and idol OPTIMUS PRIME. Leadership weighed heavy on on his shoulders, and though he never faltered, he dreamed often of a simpler life.

UNIQUE FEATURE: Opened the Matrix and destroyed UNICRON.

Scourge

titanium0039 After the catastrophic battle in which both MEGATRON and OPTIMUS PRIME were mortally damaged, the fleeing DECEPTICON forces dumped the ruined bodies of their former comrades into space to lighten their load. In the void of deep space, the wreckage drifted until an ancient creature known as UNICRON swallowed it up, melted it down, and used it to create a hose of mechanical servants. Among this host was a squad of elite tracker-terminators known as the Sweeps, led by the deadly and silent SCOURGE.

Screaming down out of the night sky of CYBERTRON, SCOURGE and his troops fell upon AUTOBOT and DECEPTICON alike, destroying all those who stood against them. They were the first in a long line of heralds and servants to the evil UNICRON, and to this day many of the streets and buildings of CYBERTRON carry the scars left by their powerful disintegration cannons.

UNIQUE FEATURE: Constructed of DECEPTICON wreckage.

Skywarp (War Within)

skrob “Out of sight, out of mind.” Those are the words Skywarp lives by, even though he doesn’t necessarily know it himself. When Megatron is around, he’s the most loyal of Decepticons, always standing rigidly at attention, acquiescing to every order given. Unfortunately, as soon as his commander walks out of the room, all thought of orders, protocol and practicality go with him. It’s not that Skywarp has a problem with authority. He just doesn’t care, is all. He’d rather be strafing unarmed noncombatants than engaging in risky missions.

The only thing that bugs him more than having to follow orders is having to work alongside guys with a lot of personal motivation. Guys like Starscream. When he isn’t going on and on about how much better a commander his is than Megatron, he’s forcing Skywarp into some new scheme to replace the big guy. Megatron is winning the war for the Decepticons. Why can’t Starscream just shut up and enjoy the ride?

Soundblaster with Ravage

Soundblaster No DECEPTICON is the subject of as much rumor and conjecture as the inscrutable SOUNDBLASTER. No matter the situation, his face is a sinister, impassive mask, betraying not even the slightest hint of emotion. If his expressionless face shows a glimmer of reaction, it is only a reflection; a trick of the light bent off his polished faceplate or depthless optic sensors.
Much is made of the power he could wield as DECEPTICON communications specialist, for every secret plan, every hidden bit of data passes through his file system. Little attention is paid, however, to his other function – interrogation. Every AUTOBOT fears capture because of the cruelty he would experience at the hands of MEGATRON, but it is under this robot's care that such cruelty is dispensed. SOUNDBLASTER goes about his awful work with detached efficiency, doling out pain the way a supply drone might hand out Energon chips.

Soundblaster was originally shown at Botcon 2007 in the upcoming products display, but due to lack of retailer support was canceled along with the rest of the Titanium series.

Soundwave with Laserbeak (Generation 1)

titanium0045 Behind every villainous leader is a cadre of shadowy figures who remain hidden, offering vital encouragement, support and advice. These secretive advisers are often the true power behind the leader, for they control the flow of information that motivates his actions. They feed him flattery and lies that allow him to continue on his path of destruction without suffering the pangs of conscience or the depredations of being proven wrong.

SOUNDWAVE is one such individual. A creature of secrets and silence, he fades into the shadow of his commander MEGATRON, all the while subtly steering the DECEPTICON commander to his own ends. He prefers to remain out of sight and out of the fight, often appearing only as a menacing presence behind his leader, arms folded, inscrutable visage promising nothing beyond cold calculation. Despite his maneuvering to improve his status, he is totally loyal to MEGATRON. He hides information or lies only if he believes it would be to his leader's detriment to hear the truth.

UNIQUE FEATURE: Able to read minds through remote brain-wave detection.
Filed Under: Titanium 6 Inch | Views: 621

Starscream (War Within)

titanium0055 One of the first warriors recruited to the DECEPTICON cause, STARSCREAM is a vicious warrior, and a gleeful killer. Most DECEPTICONS keep score of how many AUTOBOTS they take out, but STARSCREAM carves himself little trophies out of their pelvic gimbals. As leader of the elite Seeker squadron assigned by MEGATRON to launch high-speed, surprise assaults on AUTOBOT strongholds, and one of the old guard among the DECEPTICON leadership, he enjoys more freedom of opinion than many other DECEPTICONS. MEGATRON is tolerant of his sarcasm and belligerent ambition only because STARSCREAM is simply too efficient an engine of destruction to do without.

It is not only his skill as a fighter that gives his AUTOBOT victims pause. Before the war, he was an explorer and scientist, with many friends among the AUTOBOTS - JETFIRE and GRIMLOCK among them. Even then he was a bully and a manipulator, but few who knew him suspected he could be capable of the atrocities now attributed to him.

UNIQUE FEATURE: Null-Ray cannons disrupt all electrical systems

Sunstorm (War Within)

HAS13163 Deep within the laboratory of the DECEPTICON genius SHOCKWAVE, SUNSTORM languishes in a sealed cryogenic regeneration chamber. His body covered in rare electrum to protect him from the furious energies boiling from his internal fusion reactors and his mind held in stasis lock he is fierce potentiality held barely in check.

Though SUNSTORM is a clone of the famous air warrior STARSCREAM, SHOCKWAVE has made a number of modifications to his systems. His weapon systems have been upgraded to take advantage of the huge amount of energy produced by the twin tokamak reactors spinning in his torso, each arm cannon delivering the force of a small nuke with a single shot. His mind has been simplified, streamlined, and stripped of the extraneous ego and ambition that so cripples STARSCREAM. He is a pure creature, built the way all TRANSFORMERS would have been had SHOCKWAVE been their designer. He waits, silent and still, for the stimulus that will drive him into action.

UNIQUE FEATURE: Powered by experimental fusion batteries

The Fallen (War Within)

HAS12973 WAR WITHIN FALLEN forgot his real name long ago. It didn't matter. It was a name given to him by his creator - the one he betrayed. It was a relic of the time before he had some to see the truth. The truth of UNICRON.

Created as one of the original 13 TRANSFORMERS to serve as a protector of CYBERTRON, FALLEN has always been a creature of chaos and degradation. His original purpose was to oversee the stately running down of the universal clock, the ordered tick of universal balance from energy to entropy, the slow and total collapse that heralds a new creation - for what are creation and life without dissolution and death? He knew his purpose only too well, and became obsessed with the end of all things. Intrigued by the dark sciences, he came in contact with UNICRON, and fell under the evil planet's thrall.

He exists now for one purpose alone: the destruction of the Seal of Primus and the release of UNICRON into the universe. He lives only so that one day he might witness the last star in the universe wink out, and eternal ending fall.

UNIQUE FEATURE: Invulnerable to almost any damage.

Thrust

TOY-RBT-0761_03 THRUST is a bully, not a soldier. With the other DECEPTICONS® at his side, he’s as courageous as they come, charging into battle boasting of the victory to come. Even when he and his comrades have their opponents outnumbered, however, he always picks the smallest, weakest target to attack. He’ll never fight an enemy his own size, and will come up with any excuse to avoid a fight he’s not certain he can win. He is a coward, through and through, with nothing but a bad attitude and a loud mouth to support him.

Thundercracker (War Within)

titanium0016 THUNDERCRACKER was so named because of his unique sonic abilities. Even at low altitudes and speeds, he is able to force super-compressed air pulses through his engine intakes, giving him a burst of acceleration and generating a focused sonic boom that can shatter reinforced glass and deafen unprotected audio receptors. He is further able to modulate his sonic booms to affect the sensory response processors of enemy targets, causing panic and fear.

Ultra Magnus (Generation 1)

HAS13165 No AUTOBOT is more pure a soldier than ULTRA MAGNUS. He is a supreme battlefield commander who combines an encyclopedic knowledge of pure tactics with a talent for improvisation that allows him instant and total control over almost any combat situation. When other AUTOBOTS look at the tide of battle and see a lost cause, he displays a sixth sense for knowing what chances to take and when to pull victory from the certain jaws of defeat. Only rarely do his guesses prove wrong. He is a brave, capable warrior with no interests outside of his command, and no will or desire except victory for the AUTOBOTS.

Ultra Magnus (War Within)

HAS13164 No commander could ask for a finer soldier than ULTRA MAGNUS. He is a total soldier - highly intelligent and deadly dangerous, but with a fervent desire for peace and a willingness to sacrifice himself for the sake of a cause or his fellow AUTOBOTS.

The death of Sentinel Prime sent him into a tailspin. Certainly the AUTOBOTS hadn't been winning the war, but the pace of their losses had slowed. The hope of a rally was just over the horizon when MEGATRON pulled the AUTOBOT leader's spark core from his ruined body. To hear that Optronix had been passed the mantle of leadership - made OPTIMUS PRIME - was simply another, greater shock. The archivist?

ULTRA MAGNUS is on the other side of CYBERTRON, literally a world away from his new leader. As the DECEPTICONS continue slaughtering their way around the globe, he and his men wait for word from OPTIMUS PRIME, hoping that the new leader proves equal to the challenge of the diabolical will to conquest of MEGATRON.

War Within Optimus Prime VS War Within Megatron

titanium_war_within_megatron_o Deep within CYBERTRON, in chambers long lost and longer forgotten, two of the mightiest warriors the universe has ever seen battle for supremacy in a struggle that will forever define the future. One is a leader newly made, a simple archivist infused with the power of the Matrix and pushed unwilling into greatness. The other is an ancient warrior, washed in the oil of fallen foes, whose plans have been years in the making.

Here, at the very heart of their home world, the power of the Matrix flares into life as none before have witnessed, and both warriors are given a glimpse of what will be. They see themselves, ages hence, locked in a strange echo of their current struggle. They see the wasteland their war will make of their world, and the long chain of Sparkless shells in their wake. They see the shape of things to come and know that what they fight for is not just victory but the future itself.
