Cartoon Overview
Sideswipe is a member of the Autobot / Human Decepticon hunting forces on Earth, NEST. He's slightly cocky, but with good reason. He is very good at what he does, and what he does is hunt Decepticons.

He first appears in Revenge of the Fallen as a part of the NEST operation in Shanghai, China. After the twins, Mudflap and Skids are knocked out of action and Sideways seems to be successfully escaped from Arcee and her sisters, Sideswipe is sent in to take care of matters. He does so by slicing Sideways in half.

Sideswipe later is with the Autobot team that races to reinforce Optimus Prime after the battle in the forest, but he was too late to make any difference there. He also participated in the final battle at the Giza pyramids, although he did not play a significant role in the battle, beyond destroying some Decepticons.

Notes
Sideswipe transforms into a Chevy Corvette StingRay concept. Only one functional model was ever made.
