Cartoon Overview
While trying to locate the humans Sam and Mikaela in Egypt toward the end of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Starscream released tiny scout drones modelled on Earth insects. Insecticon was one such insect. Having located Sam Witwicky's hiding place, he alerted Starscream before being plucked up by Sam and pulled apart. Being the size of a tiny Earth insect has its disadvantages!
