If his buddies complain that he’s a little too impressed with his own good looks, Autobot Tracks just chalks it up to jealousy. They may be right. Fast, sleek, and a little reckless, he prefers his sportscar vehicle mode to robot mode, and can hit speeds up to 280 mph without breaking a sweat. Equipment includes heat-seeking long-range incendiary missiles and blinding black beam gun. All that prevents him from becoming a truly great Autobot warrior in his vanity, which tends to distract him from the struggle to defeat Decepticon forces once and for all.

Jovial, exacting, and able to fix just about anything, Hoist is first on the scene when any Autobot is injured in battle. In tow truck mode, he easily hauls up to 40,000 lbs. His primary function is maintenance and repair, but he swiftly converts to robot mode to take on Decepticons with heat-seeking missiles from his wrist launchers. A full spectrum multi-sensor located behind his head accurately determines the composition, density, tensile strength, and energy properties of any object.

The hotter things get, the better he likes it, and this goes for fires AND fights! Inferno can do anything Earth fire trucks can in vehicular mode, but is often distracted from his job to engage in combat. His great strength is thanks to his ceramic-plated armored skin that can withstand 8000 degrees Celsius. He also has an extinguisher rifle that shoots flame-suppressing foam, an energy dampening beam to counter other beams and forearms that shoot missiles. Unfortunately, he doesn't follow orders well and isn't very mobile as a robot.

Optimus Prime is the largest, strongest and wisest of all Autobots. Feels his role is the protection of all life, including Earth-life. Fights unceasingly to defeat the Decepticons. Splits into three autonomous modules: 1) Optimus Prime... the brain center known as the Commander 2) Roller, the Autobot scout car... a spy who operates up to 1200 miles away; and 3) Autobot Headquarters... the combat deck equipped with a versatile mechanic/artillery robot. Injury to one module is felt by the other two.

It is of paramount importance to Optimus Prime that his mission and the presence of the Autobots on Earth remain a secret. Part of maintaining that secret is changing his disguise from time to time, though never so drastically that he has to get used to a while new vehicle mode. This new disguise helps keep him incognito, hiding his presence from the Decepticons and allowing him to plan their defeat without interruption. As an added bonus, this disguise, like a few of his past ones, lets him hook up his fellow Autobots with some free Earth delicacies they rarely get to enjoy.

His ability to trigger alarms in his comrades often makes him unpopular despite their respect for his skills. Extremely fast in vehicle mode, he carries a particle beam rifle and rocket launcher with a 25 mile range. Red Alert sometimes makes quick judgements that cause injury to himself and his comrades.

Fellow Autobot warriors find it difficult to maintain friendly conversations with this quick-tempered, easily provoked Autobot, but Ricochet has an uncommonly strong sense of justice. Has the most accurate marksmanship of the Autobots. Can hit a tin can from 10 kilometers. Shoulder mounted automatic shell cannon fires shots at a rate of 30 per second.

RODIMUS MAJOR is a typical adolescent who dreams of being heroic and important. Although he means well, his impulsive actions often get him into trouble. Carries two photon lasers that temporarily electromagnetize an enemy robot’s microcircuits. An enthusiastic and idealistic thrill-seeker who acts like the immature adolescent he is. Can be hot-headed, but is a brave, admirable and honorable fighter. “Major” is an honorary title bestowed on Autobots who exhibit great potential.

Silverstreak is not the "typical" Autobot. Always on overdrive, he is an incessant talker whose endless banter and sharp humor can lighten tense situations. Memory of his home-city’s destruction by the Decepticons causes him to hate war. Long distance bombing capability of up to 8.3 miles; lightning-like 80,000 volt beam travels up to 12 miles with limited accuracy. Armed with formidable weapons and incendiary speed, but sometimes impeded by distaste for combat.

Skywarp is a sneak who enjoys playing cruel tricks on his comrades and appearing without warning to snipe at Autobot forces. Cunning and powerful, he is the most deceitful of all Decepticons, and he would be a misguided soldier without Megatron’s constant supervision. Carries heat-seeking missiles and variable-calibre machine guns and has the ability to teleport up to 2.5 miles. Top speed: 1500 mph.

Locates and identifies Autobots, then informs Decepticons. Carries a concussion blaster gun. Often target of retaliation by his comrades.

Seeks to replace Megatron as leader. Ruthless, cold-blooded, cruel... considers himself the most sophisticated and handsome of Decepticons. Shoots cluster bombs and null-rays which disrupts the flow of electricity. Very good at what he does, but sometimes overrates himself.

Although a ruthless model of action in the battle against the Autobots, he remains an independant thinker who is not wholly convinced by Decepticon dogma. Devastatingly powerful - inhibited only by doubts about his cause.
